The Thai government said this week it will send an official document to Prime Minister Hun Sen regarding ousted Thai premier Thaksin Shinawatra, following a war of words between Phnom Penh and Bangkok over Cambodia’s right to refuse extradition.
Thaksin, who lives in exile, but not in Cambodia, faces a prison term on corruption charges if he returns to Thailand.
Hun Sen angered the current Thai government earlier this month by hosting a Thaksin supporter of the opposition party, then declaring Thaksin welcome in Cambodia, despite an extradition treaty with Thailand.
Thailand’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said Tuesday it will outline the facts of Thaksin’s case for Hun Sen, who it said may have obtained incorrect information.
“We will receive the documents relating to Thaksin to read if the Bangkok government sends the documents to us,” government spokesman Khieu Kanharith said. “It is no problem. We will have our legal experts examine the documents.”
Thaksin was ousted from power in a bloodless coup in 2006, but he still enjoys wide support among Thais, and Hun Sen has called Thaksin a political victim and thereby outside extradition requirements.
Koy Kong, a spokesman for Cambodia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said the ministry had not yet received documentation from Bangkok, but relations otherwise continued as normal.

FUCK THAILAND ....
Why is Khmer afraid of Thai anger when they are occupy Khmer land?
8:33 AM-I don’t think Khmers are afraid of Thai. I think Thailand wants to show their military might and power and wants the world to know that they more dominant in the region. Also Khmers don’t want to fight rather to defense from Thai invasion. Since they’re both members of ASEAN, invading Cambodia would be a loser for Thai credential, economically and politically. Maybe border skirmishing is the only scenerio.
You don't think Khmer afraid of Siem Khmer people never afraid of Siem, but Khmer got enough of war.Do you want Khmer make war with Siem?
Cambodia under Hun Sen adopts a passive defensive posture at Preah Vihear. If we let the siamese soldiers stay on our land, sooner or later it becomes de facto (a fait accompli) their land as well and we will be forced to share it according to international law.
We must take the initiative to repel the enemies at all costs. Shoot and kill a few dozens of them while minimizing our losses. Only then, the UN security Council gets involved to our advantage.
I think the issue is not about whether we afraid of thais or not but about Hun Sen personallity. What do we have to gain from allowing Thaksin to stay in Cambodia? Yes, Hun Sen and his cronies will not affect by this but ordinary khmer will. If he's not happy with Thais about Phreas Vihea issue why not seek legal help from International Communities?

Buddha predition:
1) "Bangkok will collapse": Bangkok now is in the situation of collapse because it political instablility within the country. Bangkok could be turn from royalist to capitalist of republic of Thailand as soon as possible or the country could be broken down into 2 parts of which the south part will be slipt as independent state.
2) "Phnom Penh was disolved": Phnom Penh was already destroyed by KR and stated it year of zero from 1979.
3) "Prey Nokor was scattered": It was already happened since 1975 by the communist occupied and disolved the South Vietnam Republic and turned the city of Saigon ("Prey Nokor" in Khmer) to be Hochiminh city.
4) "Angkor Watt is the place of happiness": It is ongoing developping the town of Siem Reap province.
Let see if the Buddha predition is correct. There will be only one term that remains in following up by all people that is "Bangkok will collapse".
