Thai envoy meets for the first time on Tuesday Thai engineer detained in a Cambodian prison on charge of spying flight information of ex-Thai Thaksin Shinawatra and Cambodia's PM Hun Sen.
The Cambodian side contacted Thai embassy in Phnom Penh on Tuesday morning, confirming that the envoy; Chalotorn Paowiboon, can meet Siwarak Chutipong at the prison.
Later the envoy then met Siwarak and contacted his mother; Simaluck Na Nakhon Panom, allowing him to talk to his mother.
Simaluck quoted her son as saying that he is ok.
This is the first contact of Siwarak since he was arrested last week in Phnom Penh last week. Cambodian authorities had earlier refused consular visit of Thai embassy in Phnom Penh.
Simaluck who was a teacher of Nakhon Ratchasima Technical College in Nakhon Ratchasima said she was ready to go to Phnom Penh to visit her son.

Thailand realy cares about her citizen. Hun Sen never cares about our Khmer people who have been killed or abused by Thailand. Now I clearly understand why Cambodia has lost its land from time to time because throughout our Cambodian history there have been feeble-minded leaders like Hun Sen who has been puppet for foreing countriesfor his personal gain. What a pity! I don't know when our current government realized the danger of what has happening to country country under Youn and Siamese. It seems Hun Sen and his followers are brainwashed by something beyong comprehension. God is not fair for our Khmer people.

Thailand only cares about this one Thaïs man, Siwarak Chutipong, because is working for the government. Get it? There is thousand of Thais national living in Cambodia, and bunch of them broke Khmer law. Just couple weeks ago this Thai man killed his girlfriend in the motel or something. Remember? And did Thai government got involve in that case? NONE. Ok?
