Thirty-seven MPs and senators on Friday submitted a petition to Parliament President Chai Chidchob asking Ramkhamhaeng University to revoke the honorary doctorate in political science it conferred on Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.
The petition accused Mr Hun Sen of breaching diplomatic ethics in his handling of Thai-Cambodian relations.
He had acted unethically in appointing fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra his adviser and rejecting Thailand's request to extradite him.
"What he has done is not what a good political scientist should do.
''He has caused a serious conflict with a neighbouring country, a contravention of the honour conferred on him by the university," said Atthaporn Polaboot, a Democrat MP for Phetchaburi.

Who is care about Ph.D in Thailand. Who wants degree from Thai University?
I think it is a disgrace to received any types of degree from Thailand because they have been teaching the wrong history to their people for hundred of years...so, you tell me. I'd rather go without a degree better than an illusion knowledge.
It makes sense a lot...while Hun Sen is busy to handle border issue with Thailand, Sam Rainsy is busy to handle border issue with Vietnam.
But now everything is in contradict because CPP's parliamentarians are in hurry to lift Sam Rainsy's immunity because of his courage to protect Cambodian border at the eastern zone.
Let all of us including CPP's members wake up to unite Khmers together and build our country by our own or self-reliance.

In an interview Hun Sen said that the todays president of South Korea was his adviser. And now, why he can't chose MR Taksin as his adviser?
This comparation is absolutely wrong because:
1) todays president of SouthKorea
was at the time the clean man
for his country
2) instead, MR Taksin has acted
bad thing (defraudation of
tax and corruption)in his
country.
3) He hated MR Abasit because of personal despute. But as the world know, MR Abasit is the PM of Thailand.
4) MR Taksin is his best friend more than 20 years, but Thai people know him as him as he was born. What is the different? best friend or bring own country in trouble?
5) If (Zenario)the war will be break open who will be die? ---> innocence Khmer people and Cambodian Land.
What Hun Sen act with Thailand was guided by Hanio economic policy. He underestimate Thailand forces and Thai people.
His comparison for both leader was absolutely wrong. Or he wanted to bring fire into Cambodia with the other nation conflict ???

THIS IS ANOTHER INFANT WAY OF PRACTICE. THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION. YOU CAN REVOKE ALL DEGREES OBTAINED FROM THAI UNIVERSITIES, BUT WOULD THAT RELEVANT TO THE ON-GOING PROBLEM?
Khmer should not appreciate Thai Degrees but Hun Sen deserved to be stript of all his Degrees he received from Thailand, Korea etc. because he knows nothing but killing his own people, corruption and nepotism. His leadership style is exactly like that of Hitler. Hun Sen's entourages are agreed with whatever Hun Sen said and done just like Hilter's entourages did. At last Hitler brought Germany to war with the will just like Hun Sen is bringing Cambodia to harm way and destitute. Khmer people and Hun Sen's subodinates whould be brave enough to stop Hun Sen's asora power otherwise Cambodia would be totally wiped out within next few decades.

All Hun Sen honorary degrees can be stripted any time even after he died because he didn't put any effort to earn them, namely, he did not and are not allowed to go to university as he has no high school certificate. For the real doctor degrees/PhDs that other students/people hold, they cannot be revoked because those people earned them the right way by going to uni. They hold their doctor degrees with dignity unlike Hun Sen who are holding the so-called honorary doctor degrees but run the risks of being revoked any time. He has no honor and dignity at all.
A temple boy ain't make any difference to bury inside with any Phd's papers, 'cause he is still always instinctively a violetly unhuman boy!
ah kwack is NOT a political scientist, he is a gangster. It is not being ethical, he is playing jungle politics. So, it is your stupidity to offer that useless Honory Doctorate Degree to him. So, now your stupid punks are wasting time and money trying to petition and revoke that useless degree. Hun Sen is still a winner...regardless!
Revoke his PHD so what, a PHD award doesn't change a man. Thais people are immature.
