Please stop embarrassing Cambodia!

KI-Media

In a tit-for-tat diplomatic row between Thailand and Cambodia, several embarrassing moments are taking place among those who are involved in diplomacy:

We will close that closed border

Following Thailand’s threat to seal border between Thailand and Cambodia in retaliation to Hun Xen’s nomination of Thaksin as his personal advisor and government economic advisor, Koy Kuong, spokesman for Cambodia’s ministry of Foreign Affairs, thought that it would be wise to give a tit-for-tat reply back to Thailand. DAP news quoted Koy Kuong as saying: “If Thailand closes its border with Cambodia, Cambodia will also close its border [with Thailand]”. If Thailand closes its border with Cambodia, do we really need to close that closed border also?

Is she there yet?
(or Follow You Ay’s minute-by-minute trek from Bangkok to Phnom Penh)

Somebody at DAP news may think that it is patriotic to announce Mrs. You Ay’s, Cambodia’s ambassador to Thailand, trek from Bangkok to Phnom Penh, following her recall by Sok An. On Thursday 05 November, DAP announced that Mrs. You Ay arrived at the Phnom Penh airport (http://dap-news.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=3988:elakrsi-ekgkaractutexmrrbcamtirkugagkk-anmkdlrblanyntehahehiy&catid=1:dap-news&Itemid=75). However, at 2:57PM on Friday 06 November, DAP announced that You Ay arrived at Banteay Meanchey province after crossing the Poipet international border gate (http://dap-news.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4011:elakrsi-yu-gy-efvidmenirmkcitdlexttatdmbgehiy&catid=1:dap-news&Itemid=75). One hour later, DAP issued another post indicating that You Ay arrived in Pursat province (http://dap-news.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4017:elakrsi-yu-gy-mkdlexttebaft-satehiy&catid=1:dap-news&Itemid=75). It appears that, obviously, Mrs. You Ay had to take a road trip to travel from Bangkok to Phnom Penh. Now, couldn’t the Cambodian government afford to pay her one-way plane ticket back? Short of that, couldn’t Mrs. You Ay, the owner of vast amount of lands – some of them grabbed from poor people – in Kampong Speu, afford to buy a plane ticket for herself? Short of that still, could DAP news stop publishing her embarrassing road trip itinerary? ... Maybe, we should shut our mouth also?!?!

Luckily, Mrs. You Ay did not get kill by the angry Siem's mobs. The first question is does she still want to work with CPP?

It sounds to me that, Mrs. You Ay has been escaped for her life threat demonstrators in Thailand. It is funny about that report. Actually, Mrs. You Ay took the road trip from BKK to PP because she wanted to come by to check her lands on the way.

Travel advisory for cambodians: avoid if possible all visit, stop over or transit to thailand.
You might get stuck there if tension escalates.
I personally am flying tp PP via kuala lumpur.
I personally made the trip to BKK through BKK. At least you get to see the countryside.

Bravo KI! that's a TKO on DAP- Soy Sauce news.

Without it,CPP can't boast to the world that Cambodia allows free and progressive press.

Soy Sauce seems to put his dirty feet in Hun Sen's_ss hole now.

Close the closed borders? This one KI is wrong. Although, Thailand closes its borders, it doesn't mean that the borders on our side are closed. If we close the borders as well, when Thailand reopens them, it doesn't mean our borders are open. we can still close them. KI needs to think about it again!

Fuck You You Ay. You are a crook by grabbing khmer lands for your own asset.

You are not qualified as an Ambassadlor in Thailand at all, not academic background what soever. You have attended the beggar's school only (Sala Chhor Tean).

Good reason that Mrs. You Ay makes her trip back to Cambodia by road. It is safe to drive than to flight out of Bangkok.
Bangkok International Aiprort is a Yellow international airport.

"If Thailand closes its border with Cambodia, do we really need to close that closed border also?"

KI Media,

Yes, we certainly need to close that closed border also. It is a reciprocal action designed to counteract the effects created by the action of Thailand.

When Thailand closes its border with Cambodia, it means that Cambodians can no longer go to work or do business in Thailand. The flow of agricultural products and others will be stopped from entering Thailand so, in other words, anything from Cambodia cannot enter Thailand. However, it does not mean that their products cannot enter the Cambodian market and usually the Thais flood our market with their products and services.

The trade between Cambodia and Thailand has been imbalanced for all of these years. They have imported much less from us so it has always been a negative balance on our side.

Announcing to close our border in response to their action is an appropriate diplomatic move. It will be the Thais who will get hurt more by their action.

It's pity to see Mrs. You Ay, taking a road trip back to Cambodia. Hun Sen should have prepared to buy her a ticket. My poor envoy.

it's even more pathetic to see DAP News trying to be hyper-patriotic by posting all those useless reports on where Yu Oy has gotten through. don't they have better thing to report? Soy Sauce in my opinion is really inciting hatred among Thai people toward Cambodians. Whose side is he actually on, I wonder.

Too bad they did report, not only by the PAD news but all other media as well. So I guess the pathetic was all lying on Khmers' face no matter how Yu Oy excused herself as a mean to avoid the media or not.

This is so true to the situation said...

No one embarrassed Cambodians but Cambodians.

Not really,Hun Xen embarrassed Cambodia and Cambodians becuase he is a hybrid Yuon's Khmer Rouge not Khmer or Cambodian.

Soy Sauce is another Hun Xen's rear kisser.

Doo mae aa xakaer buong cheung, Xen-Sauce!
