Recall of envoys escalates Thai-Cambodian tensions

Thailand and Cambodia have recalled their ambassadors from each other's country in a diplomatic spat over Phnom Penh naming fugitive former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra a government adviser.

The actions are a major escalation in tensions between the two countries, which have also had a series of small, but sometimes deadly, skirmishes over the demarcation of their border.

Thailand recalled its ambassador Thursday afternoon, saying it considered the appointment of Thaksin to be interference in its internal affairs. It also said it would review all of its agreements with Cambodia.

Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sok An later said that his government was withdrawing its envoy in a reciprocal action.

Ex king used to grant supplies route and shelters for Vietcong and North VN guerrillas/troops during VN war. What He gained, Khmer Rouge killed almost two millions Cambodians. and almost 10 years under VN rule and still counting.

Now his adopted son, Hun Sen does the same pattern. Grant Fugitve Thaksin and appointed him to be his advisor.
This time Cambodia surely will lose Preah Vihear to Thai. Thaksin and Adhisit are Thai. They must think first about Thailand. The same as Sam Rainsy said he rather serves Khmer but not foreigners

If Cambodia refuse to extradite an ordinary Thai citizen who committed a crime and was charged with 2-year prison term, should Abhishit Government withdraw its envoy from Cambodia?

If not, it is not a criminal motivation; it is a political motivation.

Oh come on Cambodian people!

What Hun Sen has done is nothing new! The South Korean President Lee Myung-bak used to be Hun Sen economic advisor! In fact what Hun Sen is doing is right according to international law!

Hey! If Thaksin knows how to make billion dollars and I would love to have him as my advisor and not just Thaksin even a 5 years old kid who can make billion dollars and I would love to learn from this kid too!
