Siwarak Chutipong, a Thai engineer, who has been detained in a Cambodian prison on charge of spying, denied spying flight information of ex-PM Thaksin Shinawatra and Cambodia's PM Hun Sen. Thai Foreign Ministry's deputy spokesman Thanee Thongpakdi said Tuesday that Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh's charge d'affairs Chalotorn Paowiboon had met Siwarak for the first time since arrest for about half and hour on Tuesday.
Thani quoted Siwarak as telling the envoy that he did not spy as charged.
Siwarak told the envoy that he was ok and had in good spirit.
The envoy also gave Siwarak some necessities.
Thai Foreign Ministry will be ready to facilitate if Siwarak's mother; Simaluck Na Nakhon Panom, wanted to travel to Phnom Penh to visit her son. Cambodian side will permit a visit on a case-by-case basis.

To Mrs. Seemarak and Thai People:
Dear Mrs. Seemarak:
I am a Cambodian who follow this case through Bangkok Post News Paper. I am also pleased to hear that you were able to talk to your son and he is doing well. I understand your felling as a mother. However, I found that you are luckier than many Cambodian mothers who lost sons when they illegally travel to Thailand. I hope when your son' case is clear and since your are teacher, you will be the advocate for change in Thais' attitude toward Cambodian people and other people from poorer countries.
I am not sure you knew about the report of the news about some recent cases of how Thai authority treat Cambodian people. I will give you some example below:
- A bout atwo months ago a Cambodian boy who entered Thailand illegally and was accused of doing illegal logging in Thailand was shot wounded and was burn alive.
- Another recent case similar mistake case but Thais solders shot a boy dead and I saw hismother crying in the local news reported from a Cambodian village close to border with Thailand. I was so pitty at her. She cannot even had chance to talk to his son.
-Another case in lcal report that Thai court in a province (I forgot the name) recently brought Cambodians who were accused illegal to the court with chain even around their legs.
- In 2004, a Burmese boy told me that Thai soldiers shoot at Burmese people hwo illegally went in to Thailand like they shoot animals.
Then, I conlcude that Thai authority treat people of poorer neighboring country like animals. Any illegal people should be taken according to human rights and international treaty.
Will Mr. Abhisit revisit Thai soldiers' attitude along the neighboring countries borders?
Therefore, i said I understand your concern and sadness but how would you feel if you were the mother of a son who was burned alive or killed without pasing the justice system.
If you your son found guilty with spying Cambodian security system. Will this be a more serious case than passing illegally to your country and commit guilty for make a living and was killed or burned alive.
I hope you undestand and speak with your government about these cases to avoid national hatred.
Does Thai authority learn from your current lessons from your southern provinces bordered to Malaysia?
Spies and Sniper should be executed or burns alive...! no mercy..! especially Thai/Viet spies..
AH SIAM MUST DIE DIE DIE!!!!!
I want my Khmer boy life back!!!!!
