[Thai] Cabinet approves termination of MoU

10/11/2009
Bangkok Post

The cabinet on Tuesday approved the revocation of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the overlapping maritime boundary with Cambodia, a source at Government House said.

The memorandum was signed in 2001 during the term of the first Thaksin Shinawatra administration.

The disputed waters contain reserves of oil and gas. Now that Thaksin is economic adviser to the Cambodian government, the Thai government views the MoU as an inappropriate framework for negotiations.

The cancellation of the MoU will be forwarded to parliament for debate.

This just a reminder to Khmer government not to sign any agreement or legal contract with the thug thais in the future. this is what can happen to you, your signed contract can be terminated at any time if they don't like you. That country is really going backward to the stone age.

But Thai never has war before.Thai knows how to walk on the fine line. How many war does Cambodia had? why? How does country look a like then?,because of Khmer leaders they tries to ignored the real situation. Some of the leaders were educated some were not, some always used jungle law that where they came from. The future of the country does't look good if the current leader still using this ridiculous policy.
