While the border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand has not been resolved yet, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam (CLV or Indochinese Federation) are speeding up their border demarcation.
Cambodia and Vietnam are openly declaring one more time that they will complete their land border demarcation before the end of 2012. This is the common agreement declared by foreign ministers from both countries yesterday, during the signing of notes from the joint Cambodia-Viet committee.
Var Kim Hong, the government official in charge of border affairs who was also present during yesterday’s meeting, said on Saturday 05 December that, the planting of border posts is not an easy task, however, both countries have agreed to complete the installation of border posts before the end 2012.
Cambodia and Vietnam share 1,270 km of common border. Up to now, 140 out of 314 border posts have been planted.
Regarding the land border with Vietnam, at the end of October, opposition leader Sam Rainsy and a number of villagers uprooted stakes for a border post in Svay Rieng province because they charge that these posts were planted on top of rice fields belonging to Cambodian farmers. Following this uprooting case, the Cambodian National Assembly lifted Sam Rainsy’s immunity last week to make way for the court to investigate this uprooting case.
Regarding the border with Laos, the PMs from both countries agreed two weeks ago, during the Lao PM’s visit to Cambodia, that both countries will complete 100% of its border delimitation prior to concluding a border agreement between themselves. Cambodia and Thailand have already agreed to plant 88% of their border posts, i.e. only 12% remains to be completed.
Var Kim Hong said that the common border between Laos and Cambodia is 540-km long, and up to now, the two countries have planted 124 border posts out of a total of 145.
While CLV are speeding up the border delimitation process, the border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand is still unresolved. Cambodia and Thailand share 805-km of common border. Seventy three of the border posts were installed during the French protectorate over Cambodia, however, as of now, only 40 of these border posts can be found.

DANS LA CULTURE ET LA LITTÉRATURE DU CAMBODGE
Neak Mean Boun ou Neak Boun qualifie « homme pourvu de mérites » ou un « Être -de - mérites » en khmer. L’expression est omniprésente dans la culture et la littérature du Cambodge. La croyance à cet «Être – de - mérites » est incrustée dans la mémoire collective de l’ensemble de la population. Être reconnu « Neak Boun » légitime la personne qui prend le destin du pays ou monte sur le trône. Littéralement l’expression signifie « homme possédant des mérites ». Elle vient du khmer Neak qui désigne « l’individu, la personne, l’être, celui, il ou elle » ; de Mean « avoir, posséder, pouvoir ; riche … » ; et du pàli punna (en sanskrit punya) qui signifie « auspicieux, heureux ; beau, bon, juste ; pur, saint ; fête, cérémonie, honneur » et au sens bouddhique du terme ceci notifie «des actes de mérite ou méritoires qui sont des états karmiquement bons (kusala) qui relèvent de la sphère des sens (kàmàvacara) et de la sphère matérielle-subtile (rùpavacara)… ». Mais le boun n’est pas éternel. Quand on dit que quelqu’un est âs boun, cela signifie «fin des mérites » ou « expirer, épuiser le fond des mérites » et par extension cela veut dire aussi « mourir ou mort ». Cette expression est intimement liée à la Loi karmique (karma) du bouddhisme. L’« Être - de - mérites » figure dans les chroniques royales du Cambodge dans la partie légendaire, voire historique, mais également dans la littérature classique et populaire.

I'm quite certain that many of you have residual ire and sentiment against the US for failing to nuke the commi (Vietnam). Yes, I said it with my true feelings about Yuons (yes, this goes to all the Yuons' supporters too); these cheap bastards should had been wiped out of the map (during the Vietnam conflict)for the sake of regional stability. That said, I say, "Screw the commi"; also, this time the US failed to obliterate the commi, but the mother nature will do its job , or have our fingers crossed hoping for the Chinese to contribute to the destruction of the commi Vietnam for us.

10:12pm When Buddha granted your wish askhim one more time to chang some administrators in Khmer resent administration because some of them can not see and hear of what youns do but they do what youn tell them to do. The good thing is , they deverloped some parts of the country to cover up low rate some Cambodians. Beside I really am praying and wishing that toooo . so let do good things together for our poeple and our homeland thank you bringing that up.
Khmer inside the country should stand up against vietnam,and Khmer out side the country should create a Khmer teams to spread the news to Khmer people and to contact the international communities like U.N to let them know that vietnam is the territorial expansion toward Cambodia and Lao by using the puppet government to cover it's black face and ask the U.N for an intervention to stop vietnam interfering its neighbors.
The Cambodia border watch committee and all opposition parties seek help from U.N as soon as possible.
Khmer Kampuchea Krom must also seek for help from U.N to stop the vietnam from secretly intermedating and secretly killing the land's owner of Kampuchea Krom.
