Ou Chanrith, a lawmaker for the Human Rights Party, has written a second letter to Minister of Interior Sar Kheng, asking him to provide statistics on the number of immigrants who have been naturalised as Cambodian citizens during the past decade. “[People] are concerned because there are many immigrants. If they are naturalised foreigners who entered [Cambodia] illegally, they should be sent back,” he said in the letter.

Thank you beloved Khmer people who have done the right things to ask the Phnom Penh government to provide the stats of immigrants in Cambodia. Every sovereign nation in the world has done it, and Cambodia has to do the same. Thank you SRP, Former King Sihanouk, HRP, all NGOs for bringing this long-over issue to the government.

Khmer Canada.

Royal Government must also reflect on the cases of Cambodian who have dual nationality and want to do politics .
Is it fair to have one side the Cambodian politician with a single nationality as Hun Sen and other side Cambodian with a dual nationality like Sam Rainsy who can always go and live abroad in case of trouble in cambodia?

And how can we ensure the complete loyalty of a politician who has dual nationality in cases of conflict of interest between Cambodia and the country where the politician concerned has the 2nd nationality?

The case of Cambodian who have dual nationality and are finally condemned by the the Cambodian judiciary must also be considered.

It is an important political and legal subject to day in cambodia.
Because there is an unequal legal treatment between Cambodian.
