PHNOM PENH, Cambodia, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Victims of the brutal Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia are seeking a new voice in the U.N. tribunal dealing with alleged atrocities of their day, observers say.
Five former Khmer Rouge leaders were charged with crimes against humanity are being tried in Phnom Penh.
Victims were allowed to take part in the first trial but they complained the court showed little interest in their testimony. They want more input as the second trial is about to begin, the BBC said.
The Khmer Rouge was a Maoist regime that ruled Cambodia from 1975 to 1979, founded and led by Pol Pot, who died in 1998. It abolished religion, schools and currency in a bid to create an agrarian utopia.

Pol Pot gave power to his subordinates to kill Khmers.
Now, Hun Sen gives power to his juges to imprison Khmers.

I assisted, by TV, a séance of questioning on Duch trial. That séance, it was question of methods of torture in S21. Duch then evoked a terrible séance of torture over a prisoner (I forgot his name) Duch said, while he was questioning the prisoner with his method (cool, less violence and animosity) Sudden two yuons experts entered and began to violently beaten, tortured the prisoner till his lost conscience then these yuons experts told Duch; those are the methods that Duch and his comrades should use. Duch said he was really mad with these yuons but could not do anything. Isn’t Duch wanted to tell the trial, in his way with his own words in his condition, that, all methods tortures and massacred in S21 were yuon methods. We all know that, all Khmer rouge cadres including polpot had passed by camps 100, known as Vietcong camps in Ratanakiry to receive yuon teaching and brainwashing before being released to run Cambodia during the killing field. So all methods, administration and killing, that are used during killing field are from yuons, motorized with concept Maoist (maoist yuon methods). But then what did these yuons experts in S21 know as polpot purge prison? Didn’t yuons control everything even in an over control polpot little territory?
Yuons ever methods, YOU KILL OR YOU WILL BE KILLED. Although even you become a worse killer for yuons, your life is not really safe. Take polpot and duch as example.
With no surprise, no one in Duch’s trial specially among judges care of this important revealing from Duch while it is question of yuons crimes but everyone jumped and everything are good to over victimize yuons and to expand yuon victimization. ECCC is rather a yuon trial, the assassins trial. After all khmer rouge or yuons, they are ones. Khmer people should not expect justice from these assassins, its sympathizers and accomplices.
Murderers, psychopaths never confess their crimes or take responsibility of their terrible acts beside trying to hide and show they are top clean people over all.
