[Thailand sets] Three conditions for renewing ties [with Cambodia]

Bangkok Post

The Cambodian government has to meet three conditions before the Thai government will send its ambassador back to Phnom Penh, government spokesman Panithan Wattanayakorn said on Tuesday.

He said Thai-Cambodian diplomatic relations had made the first step toward a return to normal relations with the release of Sivarak Chutipong from jail.

Thai ambassador Prasas Prasasvinitchai would return to Phnom Penh only if Cambodia corrects its stated opinions of Thailand's justice system, and of its politics, and reverses the appointment of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra as economic adviser to the Cambodian government, he said.

"The government may send a first secretary of the Thai embassy back to Phnom Penh if Cambodia wishes to improve bilateral ties, but I cannot confirm that it would be the same person," the government spokesman said.

Last month, former first secretary Kamrob Palawatwichai was expelled by Cambodia for his involvement in obtaining Thaksin's flight plan, which lead to the arrest and conviction on a spying charge of Sivarak Chutipong, who was pardoned by the Cambodian king on Friday.

Keep your fucking ambassador(s) at home. We don't want them to spy us in PP. We only welcome Thaksin.

Very stupid idea. What kind of conditions you Thai wanted ?
Thai reacts the same thing during 1960, after have lost the "Preah Vihear Temple" case at the International Court.
We Khmer don't need a friend like Thailand and we can live without Thailand.

This is a joke for a country starting all the troubles and asking the other party to accept their guilts :). This is a total joke; well it is not surprised me anymore after following the Cambodia-Thailand saga. It is same old mindset of stupidity, arrogance, one-sided, negative and ignorant views on the part of the Abhisit government. This guy is not fit to be a leader and all of his cabinets. There have not been anything achieving other than just chaotic government since it first step in the office illegally. I don't this what Thai people want...

I thought the Cambodian government is the first one to expell a first secretary for committed crime other than his job from the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh back to Thiefland.

I do have conditions for Thiefland.

Bilateral ties should return back to normal, when Thiefland meet all these conditions below.

1.  Thiefland must remove their troops out of Cambodia.
2.  Thiefland must take responsibility for shoot, wound and burn a 16 year old Cambodian boy alive.
3.  Thiefland must take responsibility for shooting Cambodian citizens to death.
4.  Ahbullshit Vejjajiva's government must take responsibility and resign.
5.  Thiefland must have a new government.

Ahbullshit Vejjajiva's government are a bunch of trouble makers, causing so much troubles in Thiefland and in Cambodia.  Just ask Sivarak Chutipong.
