SA KAEO : About 200 Puea Thai Party members and supporters of Thaksin Shinawatra were on their way to Phnom Penh yesterday to meet the fugitive former prime minister.
Thaksin supporters, mainly from Bangkok, Rayong and other central provinces, were seen crossing the border checkpoint at Aranyaprathet district in the province. They boarded buses and vans waiting for them at Poipet, the Cambodian border town, to take them to the Cambodian capital.
About 30 of them complained that Thai authorities attempted to block them from entering Cambodia. But Pol Col Charn Wongwaimethee of the Burapha Task Force denied authorities tried to disrupt their travel plans.
About 30 people did not carry passports so they could not be allowed to leave Thai territory, he said.
Thaksin returned to Cambodia on Dec 13 to smooth the return to Thailand of Sivarak Chutipong, the Thai engineer from the Cambodia Air Traffic Services who was convicted of spying charges.
Mr Sivarak was granted a pardon on Dec 12 and returned to Bangkok last Monday.
Thaksin was appointed an adviser to Phnom Penh in October. This was his second visit since being handed the advisory role.
The Cambodian government cited close relations with Thaksin as a reason to exempt Mr Sivarak from his seven-year jail term. Relations with Cambodia plunged in October after Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen appointed Thaksin as his adviser, rejected a Thai call to extradite him to serve a jail term in Thailand, and criticised the judicial process in the Thaksin case.
The former prime minister was sentenced in absentia in October last year for abusing his authority in the Ratchadaphisek land deal by aiding his ex-wife Khunying Potjaman. More cases against him are pending.

Hun Sen is breaking Cambodian constitution by allowing Thaksin uses Khmer teretory to luunch political attack on Thai government. What kind of leader he is? He's good at helping foreigner but never helps Khmers. Looks at Khmer Krom case...

Hun Sen makes political decisions based on personal gain, never for the benefit of Cambodia or it's people. He is a self-righteous dictator, he only answers to his Viet cong masters and the evil empire of China! As much as I despise the arrogant Thai government, Hun sen's recent actions have been troublesome for Cambodia. His is jeoparadizing economic relations with thailand. Wasting Cambodian resources and time with his childish games of politics! Remove this Thug leadership, a Neak laeng changkom!
Hun xen is building a bridge for Vietnam to reach western end. He is working hard to please his boss.
Hun Sen is working with the Thai that are kind to Khmer. These Thai that Hun Sen is working with signed off the agreement that let Cambodia go ahead with Preah Vihear listing. The red Thai clans and Thaksin have great understanding for each other and that is why business between the two countries under Thaksin was swell. When Khmer burnt the Thai embassy, if Thaksin wasn't the prime minister and a friend of Hun Sen, we would have been in bigger shit than paying the million of dollars. Burning down an embassy breaks all kind of international laws just so you know.
The Thai, Ahbishit and red shirt, Hun Sen is against are the Thai that encroached our land and use it as a tool to divert attention from their unstable internal issues.
So judge for yourself if Hun Sen is doing in the interest of Cambodia or Thailand.

Cambodia cannot live alone without having business relationship with her neighbors, and Abhisit does not like Khmers, and his ambitions are to destroy Khmers. Now how would you do if you are leader in Cambodia? Don't give me wrong, I hate Hun Sen as much as you do, but how would you do? For you to know Abhiist is a Right wing extremist and he is supported by the west and the US. He didn't come to power without those westerners helped him.
To be honest with you Cambodia is in a hot seat, but the leaders must make decisions either way, and no body would be happy.

Hun Sen must not play game alone. Stop being a dictator. Cambodia doesn't belong him alone. He must allow all Cambodians to help build thier country. Look what he's ben doing; hear what's said; observe how he's used his language; see what he's allowed the local authority to oppress the poors.
