A YOUN HUN XEN is keen to provide any YOUN a Khmer citizenship but it refused to grand Krom the right to be a Khmer.
This is very shamefull for A YOUN HUN XEN government.
what brothers khmer krom should do is form a leader, make alot diplomacy trip to the country like china, then form a coalition force like sihanouk did in 1969, call united nations to supervise the situation in khmer krom country and then declare independence by referendum on general election where the mass of khmer population residing. viet government must accept the willing of a minority population like quebec and canada. to find out more u can look at "quebec and souveranity" it give you an idea of the march to independance.
Khmer Krom wanted very bad to be a real Khmer.
But some of us inside Cambodia or Oversea's Khmers love to be foreigner.
Realistic we Khmer kill (our Identity and our believe) ourself.
glad to see khmer krom are demanding to be heard and known in the world. it
s about time. just because they are separated from cambodia due to political geography, doesn't mean they are not khmer. they deserve to be khmer as much as khmer people in cambodia, really! yes, please continue to study khmer language and culture, etc. just because viet/youn control khmer krom, doesn't mean khmer krom is less human than youn, you know! come study in cambodia, then take your khmer language skill and teach khmer krom children the proper spoken khmer language as well as youn. i think it is ok to be bilingual for khmer krom, really! always maintain khmer identity forever, despite living in kampuchea krom, ok!
