while people can see thing in their very nose and can make fun of themselves, it is already a good thing but if they can see only thing under their nose with no ability to look over is another question,
i think these women talk mostly about their own social and familial environment. USA had imported mass of Khmer rouge, peasants, low educated people (barbars) living along khmerthai border, defected after Vietcong chassed them out of Cambodia to abandon in USA juggle. Choc of culture and all difficulties around caused amount of antisocial behaviors for the kids of these people and generation to come.
Contrary to USA, French selected refugees to its country. Khmer communities in French are generally quite different from those of USA. Kids of people with some education or high education can better success in their career, social or familial life. They went to renaming schools or universities, success big career while kids of poor educated people gabbing around band, gang and poverty but they are few in French comparing to USA though. This is reasons these people should fight for rights to access to knowledge and equal share of resources instead of fooling around living just as nonsense a burden to the world.

I give her prop for stepping out of our "Khmer" comfort zone and let it all out. Some people find it vulgar or distasteful, but bottom line is.....it's funny. There are a whole bunch of comedians out there that use profanity and make their living out of it. I say continue at what you do, give your all and expose our culture to a good laugh.
