Military tension between Cambodia and Thailand is flaring up again when black-clad Thai soldiers were sent to station along the Preah Vihear province border, and in Anglong Veng in Oddar Meanchey province.
At the end of last week, a source from among soldiers posted in Preah Vihear temple zone indicated that several hundreds of Thai black-clad soldiers were sent to the border area in Phnom Trop. The source indicated that these Thai soldiers showed peculiar attitudes towards Cambodian soldiers, such as demanding that Cambodian soldiers filled back the trenches they built to protect themselves since long ago. In Anlong Veng, a report indicated that Thai patrolling border troops set up about 10 tents in the last four days. Currently, there are 100 Thai soldiers stationing in these tents located in front of Kbal Ansorm villager, Trapaing Prey commune, Anlong Veng district.
Nhim Chhoeun, a RCAF colonel, called the Thai troops’ action as being “unusual”. According to Colonel Nhim Chhoeun, last week, Cambodian troops stationed in Preah Vihear temple received additional supply of ammunitions and shoulder rocket ammunitions, and they also dug trenches in preparation for a fight.
Cambodia and Thailand clashed with each other 3 times already in 2008 and 2009, but the armed tension defused. However, a diplomatic war ensued when Hun Xen nominated Thaksin as his economic advisor. The current muscle flexing by Thailand is starting anew at a time when the border issue between the two countries is at a standstill.

Thai soldiers are never afraid of the Hun Sen's troops even a bit at all. Thai soldiers only respect Cambodia's troops, but never the Hun Sen's troops whom the Viet troops can push around as braindead toys at the Cambodian eastern border areas. In fact, Hun Sen's soldiers were afraid to even go to protect the Cambodia-Vietnam border areas and even secretly allow the Viets to move their border makers deep inside Cambodia's territory. If anyone compares the current Cambodia's territory to the Cambodia's territory in 1963, everyone will see that Cambodia is shrinking. Thailand understands this fact very clearly, and that is why Thailand's troops are never going to be afraid of any of the Hun Sen's troops. We Khmer have all kinds of document regarding to the border with our neighbors countries if only Hun Sen is willing to bring it to the international attention. I have to agree with the comment that says that Hun Sen's troops will fight Thailand to benefit the Vietnamese and Vietnam only. That is so damned true. It is the truth and nothing but the truth. Now it makes a whole lot of sense. The Viets take control and detach thousands of kilometers of Cambodia's border areas but Hun Sen and his troops do not do anything about it. Is there a reason why? Even one of them CPP leaders by the name of Heng Xamrin has found his own native land now belonging to the inside of Vietnam. Yet that CPP leader is happy and worriless. So this means, Hun Sen and his troops and his CPP organization represent the interests of the Viets. So when Hun Sen and his troops want to fight Thailand, they don't do it for Cambodia, they do it, rather, for the Viets and Vietnam. If you don't believe me, why don't people look evidence of the mistreatment of the Cambodian farmers protesting against Vietnam for moving border markers deep into their Khmer ancestral property. Hun Sen's troops beat up and chased and kicked and smashed and put in jail the Cambodian farmers who protested against the Viets. So these soldiers represent the Vietnamese just like they did in the 70's and 80's and 90's. When international pressure was exerting its power on the Vietnam to withdraw its forces from Cambodia, Hun Sen and his troops always played the same music that if there were no Vietnamese backing and support and troops, the Khmer Rouge would retake Cambodia and so the Vietnamese used this excuse to defend Cambodia for over 10 long years and to exploit Cambodia's timbers and fish, etc. Hun Sen and his troops are not representing Cambodia or the Khmer people. They are slaves of the YOUNs.

I grew up and living in the United States, therefore I don't really care about Cambodia.If the Cambodian population in Cambodia are not brave to stand up, then too bad they have to live like it is today. They are who suffering and lost. If they don't fight for themselves no one will. Khmer abroads? U.S.? United Nations? I don't think so. They all don't care much about Cambodia. Only all Cambodians population in Cambodia can help Cambodians and Cambodia.
However, we can always take vaction somewhere else that are better then Cambodia.
