Saigon Giai Phong (Viet Communist Party)
The Vietnam Rubber Industry Group (VRIG) will invest in growing 100,000 hectares of rubber trees in Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia from now until 2012, said an official.
According to an agreement between the VRIG and the three countries, rubber plantation rental will cost US$7 for one hectare per year in Cambodia and US$30-50 in Laos.
The group is still negotiating with Myanmar.
The group currently has 10,000 hectares of rubber trees in Cambodia and 21,000 hectares in Laos.
The VRIG will need VND10, 000 billion (more than US$500 million) to enlarge the plantation area and invest in processing factories, hydroelectric plants, industrial zones and property.
Fifty percent of the money will be mobilized from the group’s 27 member companies who have 155,000 hectares of rubber trees with a total output of 330,000 tones a year. The group will supply the other half.

It's about time to call all khmers and young khmers generation to stand up and fight Hun Sen regime. Let all millions Khmer to remove Hun Sen from power. I urge all khmers inside MUST to stand up and we will support you from abroad and will ask the international to support too. Let fight for basic human rights and democracy. if this is a real problem for cambodia, then we can't just ignore it. do something whether, protest, demonstrate, etc... to get the message across, or is it just rumor this or rumor that? now be honest! maybe if someone see it's wrong to do so, then debate to make law about it to control it, etc..., really! whining doesn't get anything done, really!

First rent the land with forest trees ;cut down trees make profit then pay for land.Grow rubber trees with viet and khmer employee with only one deal everyone has to speak watch, listen,follow viet rule. In 20 years that part of rented land become campuchea krom site 2.In the end viet take all the money from hun xxen them kick them all out.
My God $7 per hectare per year ! Therefore 10,000 ha const vietnamese government only $70,000 per year but it costed Cambodian lives 1000 families if one family need 10 ha for survival. What a Pli pleu Government?
