Every city in Cambodia should have a botanical garden or else just kiss and saying good bye to all those trees now and forever.

It's not yet too late. Please go to Preah Vihear Province, Battambang, Siem Reap, Phnom Kolen and Phnom Dungrek. Those trees may still be there, but someone one has to bring them to the city and class room everywhere in the country. So all Khmer kids can learn about it. Most of all they can learn how to preserve it and perhaps farming furniture's trees like Kor Kosh , Neang Noun, Beng etc... in a big way possible.

Dreaming of Green Cambodia,
Ordinary Khmer

KI, can you post picture some of those trees at least for now? Hell, what's kor kosh looks like? Thanks God there is picture of lotus flowers all over Karaoki vedeo or what's lotus looks like?

Yep, Cambodia is having abundance of lotus fields now. You can find many of them in Battambang Province. That too can be gone in a matter of months. Look out! because there are a lot of fool out there and they are coming to Cambodia.

Lotus field can also be farming for several reasons. It can serve as fine pond to raise fresh water fish. Lotus on its own looks as fabulous as ever during Spring season. It's the most beautiful garden on earth in Asia. Cambodian people depend on its leaves for wrapping good at the market next to banana's leaves. It seeds are for making desert or putting in ice cream etc.... Its roots are for fine starch and veggie for cooking. Its flowers are for fine ceremony at home and temple. It really is a flower for Cambodian Bhuddist's God. That how important it is. If they come to farm everything else and forget about it. We're done.

In Europe and Washington State of America, there are tulip fields blooming in red white pink purple and orange strikingly across the land in the spring. Imagine that with Lotus. THE WORLD WILL NEVER AGAIN GO HUNGRY.

well, instead of whispering sad songs, why not make a difference in protecting khmer trees, plants, etc, by creating a national botanical garden in phnom penh or something. why just complaining to no avail? wake up people!

Sam Vichea, why, are you so worry about trees in Cambodia? just live and work with your own life in the USA or elsewhere. Leave Cambodia alone, would you? please! or come and grow those threes for us if you care.

You don't need to plant and grow the trees in Cambodia. Just DO NOT cut them down. The trees will grow fast.

Sam Vichea, leave him or them olone, he means. Let him and his clan cut all trees.

According to the poem, this is the concern of Miss Than Channy, the Pnorng representative.
Please don't leave her alone.

11:47 is so stupid. Everyone should know by now that when there is no tree there is no rain and that's the end of you dummy. Go back to the stone age.
