Old CPP guards like Khieu Kanharith (seen on th e left shaking hand with Dung) are clinging on to power for several decades already, it is time for them to go to allow Khmer talents to come and serve their country!

Phnom Penh - The Cambodian government has called on the country's television and radio stations to use more local talent for advertisements and stop dubbing commercials made overseas, local media reported Thursday.
Information Minister Khieu Kanharith said the directive would help the country's creative types find more work and prevent their skills from being wasted.
'We should help create jobs for our actors, actresses, directors, writers and film producers so that they have their own livelihood rather than showing foreign spots and paying tax for using their products, which creates losses for us,' Khieu Kanharith told the Phnom Penh Post newspaper.
The minister made clear that compliance would be voluntary and said those who failed to increase the number of locally made adverts would not be fined.
Local artists were enthusiastic about the ministry's request with one prominent filmmaker saying the move would boost careers and improve the livelihoods of local professionals.
But the head of one local TV station told the newspaper that the choice lay with advertisers, not broadcasters.
'It depends on the will and intention of company owners,' he said. 'What is important is what they want.'

This hand shaking picture prooven that Yourn is the master of Mr. Khiev. Look at the way he hold both hands seems like he submits himself to his master.
it would be a wise thing to do if our old politicians can pass on their knowledge and power for the next generation so cambodia can have true freedom with new and better ideas for the future.
This old Fart is incapable to do his job...when Thaksin landed in Cambodia...he said Thaksin came in a special plane, instead of a 'private jet'. I think he is better off with a bottle of Henessy at Kien Svay than a spokesman for the government. Let the younger capable Khmer do the job!
If you really wanted the Cambodia to be prosperous, please let Cambodia grows to its full extent. From what we have learnt and understand, each and every individual has his/her own latent ability. The best one will stands up while the loser one will back off and find a suitable job. At the end of the day, all will achieve his/her goals, and everyone will be happy.
hey, don't even dream if everybody is dodging the term limit proprosal, you know. people will always use excuses because they can get away with it, really! hey, everybody from all parties failed to see the importance of implementing the term limit law, so why bother to complain, whine, or bitch about it? go figure! wake up people!

Khieu Kanharith is a drinker(look at the scar on his face left after he fell drunk on the moto in the late 1980´s.
He is also known as a fear ful playboy for the girls serving in the restaurants and Karaoke parlors.
