What Part of the Word "YUON" doesn't Michael Hansen Understand?

http://www.phnompenhpost.com/index.php/2010021131924/National-news/is-the-use-of-the-term-yuon-constructive.html

How many more will follow the foot step of that thick-skulled editor of the Phnom Penh Post to discredit Khmer (in the interest of the Viet) when it comes to the word "YUON"?

[Sans blague! Quelle partie du mot "YUON" qu'on ne comprend pas?]

He is right. We not want to hear it, but it is correct to say that word evolve and change. Like the word Negro, it is a neutral scientific name, but now if you call the Black Negro, you will be accused of being racist. So if they word Youn is projecting the image of racist, hatred, then don't use it carelessly, that is the end of the story.

I heard these foreigners got PAID a lot of monies from the Viet, just to labeled Khmers as the RACIST people.
Is this true?

People who make statements like the two above and worse use the term.

People who blame the Khmer Rouge, the PRK and every other problem Cambodia has on the Vietnamese use the term.

People who call every Cambodian who is criminal or corrupt a Vietnamese use the term.

Basically, if you use the term, you associate your self with such people and their idiot rantings, and you'll be dismissed.
