A wolf in sheep's clothing2/13/2010

Those who lived in Lon Nol's Khmer Republic, you may remember a program called " Kid's Minute." One of the shows in the program called " A wolf is in a sheep's clothes." It broadcast via radio at 12 o'clock during weekday. The program was initially designed for children back in Cambodia.
If you can take a look at its meaning again, it was not only for children, it was (is) mainly for adults. Back then, I was a child, I did not have a clue. I remember I brought the topic to school and shared with classmates under a mango tree; we innocently laughed without knowing its real concept.
Now I am an adult, most of my classmates were gone, the mango tree was gone. I vividly remember the story. It was about a wolf wanted to kill a sheep. If the wolf dressed as the wolf to kill the sheep, it would sound an alarm to trigger panic to other animals. The wolf would look bad and the wolf may be condemn. To kill the sheep, the wolf needed to dress like the sheep. The wolf put the sheep clothes to disguise to make the kill. The wolf killed the sheep one after another without damaging its reputation. The wolf enjoyed killing the sheep.
I am the adult and I am living in an adopted country called America, the land of opportunity. I have the opportunity ( or freedom) to think back to my childhood's memory " A wolf is in a Sheep's clothes" The story is reflecting the Communist's regime today in Cambodia.
As you know, the Cambodian People Party (CPP) is a Communist Party ( the wolf's clothes). It was set up by Vietnam( the wolf). To plunder wealth, to intimidate, and to subtly kill Cambodians without sounding the alarm, the Vietnamese would not behave as the Vietnamese to rob and kill Cambodians in Vietnamese identity. The Vietnamese (the wolf) have to design a new clothing ( Hun Sen) to look as if the clothing is for Cambodians. This way the Vietnamese ( wolf) can sit back and relax to see how the new clothing fit. The new clothing is being adjusted and re-adjusted all along since 1979's wearing.
It is about life and death. Even if it is about life and death, the terrified sheep in cage couldn't talk. They are not allowed to concern by the wolf. It is forbidden by the wolf. They don't have the freedom to feel fear of death. Instead, the sheep are forced to smile to the world while they are being slaughtered. With a high performance, the wolf is able to maintain good reputation among the Animal Kingdom and/ or the world.
Many sheep outside the cage feel as though they were inside the cage. They don't seem to realize they are free to inform others about the sheep's fate in the cage. They just stand by and watch the fellow sheep are being killed. Some feel helpless as though they are muzzled and persecuted by the wolf.
For those who are outside the cage, you are free to express your concerns for yourselves and for others. You can afford to have an act of compassion toward others who do not have the freedom like you do. Freedom is power only when you put to use.

That is how dumb Khmer people are mainly those are still living in Cambodia. They don't comprehen the differences between STEALING, INVADING, AND SAVING.
The current Khmer people living in Cambodia assume everything they are being told is true without a second thought.
They needed to be educated. So they just do not believe what ever they hear.
