At least 200 Cambodian soldiers will be sent to Lebanon to join the UN humanitarian peacekeeping effort. Sem Sovanny, the deputy director of the peacekeeping and demining institute, told The Phnom Penh Post on Sunday that the UN plans to request 200 Cambodian soldiers to travel to Lebanon, but that Cambodia does not know about this new plan yet. He added: “We are waiting for the UN evaluation first.” He added that details, including the exact number of soldiers and the date of their departure, as well as their work and responsibility in Lebanon will be known later, after the UN come to review these soldiers. He indicated that a group of UN officials will arrive in Cambodia on Saturday and they will review the Cambodian soldiers on Monday. Sem Sovanny said that this is the first time that Cambodian soldiers are sent to Lebanon.

Cambodian soldiers are useless!UN should not waiste funds. Cambodian soldiers only good at threatening and killing its own unarm citizens.
It would be better to spend this funds to help poor Khmer citizens for daily needs directly.

If UN really wants to see peace in Cambodia; get rid of Hun Xen, Chea Xim, Heng Xamrin and their corrupted officials.

KI Media,

What the hell of the title is that? KI Media, I am the one who follows up the news in your website not everyday but a bit more than often. What it makes your website worst is that the commented title you make.

The title of this article is one of others you have done. It is inappropriate at all. Why I am saying is because the sending of 200 Cambodian soldiers to Lebanon is still an idea, not even request is yet made.

Let the readers to judge it, rather than you.

The attempt to help the opposition by re-publicising these article is more than enough. People applauded and appreciate. But helping them by manipulating either the title or story would turn you, not a pro, but the opposition hardliner itself.

Stay clean!
stay focused!
and stay calm!

If you can do that it would help and serve the opposition better.

glad to see cambodian soldiers are participate in the UN mission. i think it is an important task, and i'm sure they will gain lots of military experience by working along side other UN soldiers, not to mention they get good salary and good incentives and perks that all UN soldiers were getting. god bless them all.

good to point out that KI should leave the title of all article alone. however, it's good that they re-post the articles here so the audience can comment and see if the articles are bias or otherwise. KI shouldn't have to rewrite the title at all. just leave it as is, the original articles, that is and let the readers comments for themselves. good to see that readers give their opinions, thoughts or comments, etc., although some comments or opinions by some readers are good while others are very extreme in political view, bias, or even racial slur, slander of gov't and libeling or gov't, etc... some comments makes sense while other are no more than cursing and name calling, unethical to say the least, really!

Dear Everyday.com.kh
You knew very well, the RACF are only able to defend the country, but not involve the internal security of the country.
The police force has the responsible to protect Khmer Farmers.

Ki-Media Readers,

If you don't like Ki-Media post that you feel not right, don't read it. We don't want you in this forum. It's OK to say Hun Sen will intend to send Khmer soldiers to Lebanon and wait for UN to view if they're fit for the job. Off course they will send them anyway.

Ah Hun Sen can only help protect other foreigners, but tries his best to kill Khmer people and let Youn swallow Khmer land. He is very good in that.

Post for articles and photos, Ki-Media. I'm behind you 110%. Don't listen to those idiot people who try to protect Hun Sen.

what and why Cambodian soldiers? to Lebenon? They are not as advanced as compares to other countries. I don't understand, why the government even allowed the soldiers to participate with the UN. What is the purpose? Interesting! What's next?
