A national conference to review the dissemination of externally oriented information on sea, islands and demarcation in 2009 concluded in Danang City on March 9.
In his speech, the Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Propaganda and Education, To Huy Rua, called on all ministries and sectors at all levels to coordinate in promoting the image of a stable and peaceful Vietnam as well as hard-working, friendly and hospitable people, refuting erroneous information and subversive views by hostile forces and implementing the resolutions adopted at the 10th PCC’s fourth congress on Vietnam’s sea strategy in 2010.
Mr Rua also underscored the need to consolidate the ties of friendship with other countries, especially with China, and circulating information on the importance of the sea and islands to national construction and defense.
On the occasion, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education commended 50 outstanding collectives and individuals for their achievements in disseminating foreign affairs information on sea, islands and demarcation last year.
Radio Voice of Vietnam (VOV) was also presented with a certificate of merit in recognition of its effort to circulate information on sea and islands demarcation.
VOV’s Overseas Service was also presented with a certificate of merit for dissemination of foreign-related information.

Every decision needs Hanoi approval because Hun Sen always does that, for his entire live, he is not able to change, Khmers must replace this man..
