While red-shirt protests are being held in Bangkok aiming to topple the current government of Abhisit Vejjajiva, Cambodia's Prime Minister Hun Sen told all Cambodian workers working in Thailand on Monday "not to join" the rally or they will become the victims.
Hun Sen did not say how many Cambodians working in Thailand, especially, in Bangkok but many reports suggested thousands are working there.
During his speech delivered at a graduation ceremony in Phnom Penh on Monday, Hun Sen appealed that those who work in Thailand not to join the protests, or they will only become the victims.
He suggested it is purely the internal problem of Thailand, thus Cambodians must not involve.
During his speech, Hun Sen also told his armed forces deployed at the border with Thailand to make good contacts with the Thai military side and not to conduct any movement that may confuse the situation that Cambodia is to take advantage of the internal problem.
Concerning the rumors on the presence of Thaksin Shinawatra in Cambodia, Hun Sen said Cambodia wishes not to hide his presence but always tells the public and televises his presence.
He said Cambodian televisions made public broadcasts of his presence in Cambodia during his all previous appearances here.

Why not help eternal red-shirt friends, Hun Sen?
The rule and law. The Cambodian workers in Thailand can't supports this protest.
Hun Sen should learn from Thailand where they allow and respect the rights of demonstrators. Thai police protect peaceful demonstrators. Can Hun Sen dare do that in Cambodia? You are real dictator. You will have your day when all Khmer have enough of you. They will kick your ass no matter how strong you are, how many stars you have
Hun Sen just bragged about everything and in his message he threatned Abhisit that Khmers are among Red shirts, so make sure Abhisit knows this. Oh man Hun Sen is sure learning fast from King Sihanouk. Sihanouk with his sweet talk took advise from Mao to help Ho to fight the US then he gave signal to the US to bomb Viet army in his country. Evils over evils.
Find decent job for your people, Hun Sen!
What a dumb Cambodian PM Hun Sen. He has nothing to worry about Thailand whatsoever but watch his dirty mouth before he start talking to anybody. I get tired of him talking in Khmer and make no sense. Please all Khmer in Cambodian need to stand up like Thailand and other country to kick a dictatorship like HUN SEN out of power now before him, his family and his gangster ruin your children and your future. Rise up all Khmer in Cambodia.
