DAP news
Translated from Khmer by Socheata
A few minutes earlier, all opposition MPs from the Sam Rainsy Party walked out of the National Assembly session, claiming that they could not participate in the National Assembly session to ratify the anti-corruption law from now on. As of now, the ruling CPP MPs are still continuing the debate and they already ratified Section 5 of the anti-corruption law with 81 approving votes. The CPP MPs confirmed that the National Assembly session will continue even without the presence of any opposition MPs, and as of 11:17AM, the National Assembly is still debating to ratify Section 6 of the anti-corruption law.

By walking out, the SRP is giving ways to the CPP to get what they want since there is no opponents.
Exellent job SRP! And millions citizen should also participate to oppose this phony law.
it is not an aniti corruption law
is a protect the corruption law
Cambodian citizens should not allow the phony government to tailor any law to protect their bad faith.
2:47PM,
By staying in is worst! The government always have their way. They controle the National Assembly. They have a lot more seats to passed anything they wants without SRP's MP or other MPs. They never listen to the debate fairly. They never take into consideration. They already have the result ahead before it reach the National Assembly debate. The debate is nothing but just for the show. All they think is to benefit them and their corrupted officials.
By boycotting them will somewhat allow an opportunity later by the meaning that SRPs MP was not pressent to participate their phony law. Please see more then just a few inches in front of you.
stay to debate will not change the result. Everyone know the result beforehnd.
By boycotting will give saying that opposition MPs do not support the phony law. This is good that the opposition don't play the government game. All citizens should participate. The more the better. This law is unethical to the citizens. When passed it will allow the corrupted government to continues to be corrupt legally.
SRP MPs can talk and walk as much as they want, but the anti-corruption law is already passed by Parliament today. In democracy, the majority makes the decision and pass any draft law. The minority can't impose its will to the majority. SRP should wait until they win the election, then they can change the laws whatever they like.
For the time being is the CPP's term, like it or not, SRP and its stupid supporters have to learn to cope with it.
Khmer in Sydney CBD
This "protect the corruption law" will passed regardless of the opposition MPs. CPP have a lot more seats to passed alone.
But it is good to see oppositions boycotting. Meaning they don't support this phony laws. It would be best if all citizens joint SRP.
khmer in Sydney CBD your mother should be at the Svay Park not here.i know, you were looking for your mother ? weren't you?
Most of us have heard of 'the rape of Nanking' by Japanese forces during World War II...were Japanese forces occupied China and raped Nanking women, burning and looting the city.
In Cambodia, we have the CPP raping and plundering Cambodia's natural resources...ruling Cambodia in tight grid for personal gains...it's a total zoo without real law protecting the people but only currupt officials and cohorts. They are selling Cambodia day by day...and when the day come, Cambodia will be dumped for Vietnam to annex.
This is a true story of a Khmer tragedy...history simply repeats itself, it just won't stop...

All 82 CPP members of parliament including Hun Sen, Chea Sim, Heng Samrin, Hor Nam Hong, Sok An, Cham Prasith, etc. should raise their hands and prepare to go to prison for corruption and treason!
This is a communist anti corruption law... Only if you are a communist can be spoken and taken account for... I am sad that this Hun Sen government continues on this path... What this government doing outside telling us a lot of what inside the CPP government officials' heads. They are still communists and gangsters. Again, it is very sad to see them going that way... when we have the world proven that is not working and a whole country livelihood depending on them.... They must know that Cambodia is a greater than just the people among themselves.
they can't even unite their own party, how could they lead cambodia to a brighter future? maybe they are better to stay as a minority party permanently as cambodia can use them like this, really!
