i think everytime opposition people open their stinky mouth to call gov't youn puppet, etc, they are bias and political in their view. so, people don't buy it anymore when you exploit history against cambodia, instead of working on the reality of cambodia. look, people aren't stupid, you know, we can see political bias when you show us one, really! keep doing it, and your party will get nowhere in cambodia! people just don't buy that anymore. life goes on, really!

i like the idea of having gov't official declare their assets, however, it should start on the date of the effective law, not going back in time you know when! that's not right! i mean, of course, people will fight it if you are not thinking about the consequences, etc... don't be so evil and too strict in this sense, you are not doing anyone a favor, really!
As far as we know, Hun Aen, Chea Sim, Heng Samrin and many other in the CPP Toppest Rankings are uneducated group. They don't know what the law is, So, who have prepared and/or wrote that law for them to passed?
I don't blame Hun Sen nor the hand raisers. they don't have capacity to write such law, but the people who written the law themselves must responsible for that law just passed by SVA raising hands.
Example: Heng Samrin, can't even read letter in Cambodian language and the pig seller and vietminh servant, so, as Chea Sim the farmer and vietminh intruder and Hun Sen lived and learn from pagoda Neakawoan and from Sihanouk's Maquis. There is no law degree apply to the pagoda Neakawoan and Sihanouk's Maquis study courses.
i think when the khmer public entrust officials to work for the country, they expect these official to do a good job. so declare personal asset is fair because it's a prize you pay for getting a gov't job. gov't belongs to the khmer public, really. it's not a place for your to steal from gov't and the people you are entrusted to, really! however, declaring persons assets going back in time is another story. the new law should only be affective on the date it is passed, not going back in time for the sake of personal security, etc... it all seems to make sense, really. so, finding a solution for the public interest is best choice, not personal, really!
