This is very ignorant article ever! I found it very disrespect! Where is your ethic KI? Now you have really show that you are just another side taking, political manipulating blog. "KI-Media loves to hear from you, and we're giving you a bullhorn. We just ask that you keep things civil. Please leave out personal attacks, do not use profanity, ethnic or racial slurs, or take shots at anyone's sexual orientation or religion. We thank you for your cooperation!" But all i seen is one side attacked and exploitation. As i remembered you wrote an article to acknowledged the readers not to personally attacked Ms. Sotheary, which i supported that, however, it is clearly showed on your website that from day to day you just keep on ravaging your political opponent like a mad dog. And now this time the King? What did he ever do his role in politic? By far to me and some other people he is a very good king, he never involved in politic! All he did is helping his people. You really lost it KI! You really lost it!

Dear Lok Phannara,
Thank you for letting your voice be heard, although I am somewhat baffled by your irritation against the article, which by the way, was very well written by the Czech news agency CTK.
Nonetheless, I can sense your irritation about my curiosity on protocol: with all due respect to the king, when someone earns an honorary doctorate, is it OK to call that person Dr.? In the case of the king, what is the royal protocol to address the king: is it Dr. King or King Dr.? Could you please help illuminate my curious mind on this issue?
As for the title "dancing king", if you were to read the article, it was attributed to the king by the eminent AMU Professor Bozena Brodska, most likely by affection than by disrespect. While I understand that, in the Cambodian psyche, any ordinary Cambodian citizens who are involved in singing, dancing, etc... are usually looked down upon by society in general, therefore, when a king is professionally involved in such activity, referring to him by his profession is considered a disrespect? Then, shall we all write to our respectful king to repudiate his past?
In my humble opinion, professional and amateur-alike dancing and singing are honorable professions as anything else, in the case of Khmer dancers and singers, they even help perpetuate our tradition and culture. Therefore, I think that we should look past beyond our rigid mindset and be more open-minded rather than sticking to an untouchable protocol reserved exclusively for certain class of people like kings, queens, leaders separated from the remainder of the populace. After all, aren't we all human beings with flesh and blood?
Just my humble personal opinion only!
Yours truly,
Heng Soy

Is the King untouchable? Ask Hun Sen and even the King's father, how many times they both were threatened by Mr. HUN, himself? Hun Sen and Hanoi got all of them by the balls - so to speak.
So! fuck the Chek for stupid jok!
I think for Ki Media to be a reputable media, it must act professionally. Most of the titles mocked and made fun of the article subjects and one-sided. I think Ki Media should just post the article in its entirety and let the readers decide, after all most Ki Media readers are against the monarchy and Hun Sen, Vietnamese....etc. The comments should be moderated as well to delete all offensive and profane comments. The majority of comments in Ki Media are very offensive, either against Hun Sen or against Sam Rainsy, and most contained racial or racist slurs. I think a lot of high profile people like politicians, diplomats and academics stopped reading Ki Media because they can't stand seeing all the profanities, racial and personal attacks.
What the hell wrong with Phannara? It is an individual's opinion....regardless who it it! you expressed yours, and let others express theirs. The King is appointed person by, and within the royal family member....He has a constitutional role to protect the Cambodian nation...nothing less! nothing more! I think you are smart enough to figure it out! so, lieve with it and respect others' opinions...
As mention in our Constitution, the supreme law of the country, Cambodian citizens has to unconditionally respect the King. When a couple of persons did not obey this law, there would be their problem. A good citizen should not neglect or break the law along with others who chose to disrespect the law.
Like it or not, the King is the symbol of our Nation. When the King was disrespected, so our Nation and ourselves would be.
An ordinary rock in a forest is believe to be powerful because of people believe in and pay respect to. The more people pay respect to, the more powerful the rock is.
KI,
You are doing great! keep it up the great works! don't let a few rotten brorhouk ruin your Ethical appetizers. Your mission statement is to democratically, and freely serve and represent a community at large and not a selective few....If you try to shut people up from expressing their views and opinion, your KI then should be dissolved, bt must maintain the international media standards.
Good luck!
4:08 AM,
That is an old school opinion! Today is the 21st Century! Please keep up with the paste or get out! The King is a Constitutional Figure head in Cambodia, but he is not asked to be respectful (NOT RESPECTED BUT RESPECTFUL!) if he perhaps may not respect the wishes of Cambodian people and the nation well beings. The King can be impeached at any time IF the code of conduct within the frame work of his obligation and responsibilities for his nation are violated!
Your view(s1)
What's wrong with you Lok Phannara? Freedom of speech! Everybody is entitled for his/her opinion. The fact is Ki didn't loose anything. Get it! May be you lost it, yourself! Ki didn't disrespect the king. Ki only reported what the king did. So Lok Phannara, reevaluate your rude comment and apology to Mr. Soy, right now.
By the way, this king was the worst king ever! He is responsible for 3 million Cambodian people. Isn't that enough to put him out of power for good. Forget about Sihamoni, he's gay, for goodness sake. Leave the gay guy along! I'm ashamed to have gay guy as our king.
4:18Am, To respect my freedom of speach I entitle to say anything again your opinion! And apology to no shit head!
The reader are the judge, fool!
Bravo Ki-Media !
The King is a Public Property who would be targeted of the criticism.
If the King cannot bare it pls go back to Paris to live as ordinary Khmer. And then no one touch him.
Long live the Dr dancing King !
Long live Xmer Kingdoom !
Hey phannara and heng soy English of you both is so good. How get that. Please tell us how to acquire good of writing in that kind of style. I just love it the you guys present your views maturelly and logical.
CONFIDENTIAL PROFILE PROHIBITED!
Everything has a positive version and a negative one. Criticism and compliment is a matter of mind(opinion?)if you don't mind it doesn't matter. KI is a public forum where everyone can vent his/her frustrations at will. However, only mutual respect and understanding is a must to create a more comfortable friendly atmosphere for each of us.
We Cambodian (both local and abroad)must hold together to fight to gain back our national dignity. Are you not proud of yourself if you have both a kind worth of the name and a leader of integrity? If so, let's drink a toast. However, if both of them fail to live up to our expectations, let's get rid of them. Cambodia has to turn a new chapter now.
khmer thaa pouch ah kompouch chhkai toeur
My opinion is: The country is in sh*t hole which run by the very same assh*le that killed 1.5 million Khmer and to top it off......the damn King is gay. What can we ask for more?
Can you say....thy Kingdom come?
Phannara, are you kiss ass the dr pd king?
During Khmer Rouge Regime your King Grandpa (Ta Sdach Sihanouk) was in North Korea shooting movie with Khmer actress name Kim Nova. He never been house arrest in Pnom Penh during Khmer Rouge. And the nick name by Khmer Rouge called samak mith Sorn, Who is he the one giving order to Pol Pot. I haven't have enouge rice to eat during that time and only eight year olds. I have to work in the rice field and separated from my parent and sister. They put me in the Camp in Chrouy Mates which and Bort Korng. No school for me and the other children just over work and no food. Can you explain who's the master mind that kill the Khmer people? If it not your former King Norodom Sihanouk revenged against Om Lon Nol and Om Sari Matak, Who would it be the real murderer of Khmer People not to mention spreading the Indochina over Asia.

Love and hatred are the products of our emotion through the expression of our feeling.
Disappointment can sometime leads to anger depends on the controlling mechanism of our feeling.
I do admire the king if the king fullfils his potential roles as prescribed in our constitution.
Please notice that article 7 is only preventitive mean, for not allowing the king to do his utmost for cambodians and the country.
Other articles allow our king to certainly fullfil his roles for PEACE and SAFETY of ordinary cambodians. And he is obligated to do so, reflecting on the living circumstances of cambodians.
Just imagine that bridge is for two ways path, likewise that is applied to any relationship wether between the king and his people, partnership in marriage or friendship...what so ever.
We are here, not to abuse but express grounded comments rather than our anguish to one another.
Lots of comments can be made for the benefits of our cambodianS,but not for any individual.
Neang SA
Let's dance!
Yes, to butter it up a little bid more let's dance with our King until Youn takes all our land. Shouldn't the King look into pardon those two farmers that are in Svay Reing prison right now?. What is the cost of six wooden sticks?. Let's go again dance with the King.
I support KI 100%. They are doing their job in bringing news to the public and has allowed the public to express their opinion according to their right for free expression and free speeches.
THe present has also his weekness for not fullfill his role as safeguard of Cambodia sovereinity and Cambodian peace. The King should call off for the recent problem involved with government of Hun Sen to use court to destroy Cambodian multi-parties system. The King has his role to play for a full harmony and full right of all members of Parliament of all parties. The silence of King for the big problem of land evictions, leasing land to foreign governments and army to plante rubbers was a problem of the King himself who would loose all his respect. He must prove himself as the most respect King and has fullfill his duty to protect Cambodia and all Cambodian.

Thanks, Neang Sa for the advice. Where you get all of your thourght from? is it Google Search? or Jerry Springer? LMAO. I a gree with 6:03 let put on that ballet suit and dance to impress king papa and queen mama living in Beijing. :=)

"he never involved in politic! All he did is helping his people. You really lost it KI! You really lost it!"
Phannara!
He never has involved in politics? REALLY? The King may not rules but he does involved in politics....in his stupid know how! such as appointing stupid incompetent staffs, Government officers, giving junk yard stars to hun sen, heng samrin, chea sim, and honores foreig ambassadors, etc....! So, what do call that? Phannara! I suggest that you should further study Cambodian's politics, and certainly, you are absolutely lack of credibility when it comes to making logical senses in Cambodian politics. Your comment has no merrits!
Grow up!
I support KI Idea ,do not take that few crappies criticize comment, all the human shit are smell the same no one is special, think like USA they can curse every one but we can't touch them ,criticize are not big deal in here why their country are growing, special here and there ,walking on the knees ,crawling to see smelly king are the thing should be avoided and cause Cambodia shrinkage til to day.
Only real democratic will work in Cambodia not the monarchy shitty and communist Youn and China.
An honory awarded degree cannot be called Dr. Drs. only reserves for those who work hard to earn them. They the one who deserves to be called Drs.
I am good at licking pussies! I was awarded with an honory doctorate degree for being great at doing so. But no one calls me Dr. Pussy licker INSTEAD they call ah pussie licker! I am OK with that! The more I lick, the better I am at it. What else can I ask for? more pussie of indeed! hahahahah!

Article 7, allows the Cambodian King to safeguard, and maintian peace for the Cambodian nation. Ah youn has encroached Cambodian soverignty, and teritorized Cambodian citizens along the the nations bordeer lines. Where is this stupid King? Did he come to saving these poor Cambodian villagers ah Youn and from ah hun sen's jail. That is why, I called fucking useless, punk ass and stupid puppet King.
Cows produced milk for us to grow up as a man. Don't you know that?
KI, you are the best!!!
I also like 6:42 and 6:47AM
Good job guys!
9:36 AM,
Regardless as to whether or not you drink cow milk, you still are a man and woman....unless you change your sex!....don't get me wrong, you still a person....but...you figure it out!
I don't know what is good thing this king can do besides sucking people money . He help thai from jail but not khmer. Good luck KI.Keep up good work and thanks you .
Why we self behave like dictator ?
We feel only happy, when others did or acted, what we wanted.
ah mok fucking motherfucker kingson kingfather kingmother. U ll be sent to hell coz of ur very ugly politics and bloody hands. Our country suffers coz of your fucking reign. Damn it ah crazy current khmer king dynasty.
Sihanouk killed General Dap Choun for opposing the Communist while Sihanouk was favoring the Communist Ideology. Sihanouk killed Preap In, Keang Houk Tanch and more because they want Democracy, Freedom, and Justice...much like Ah jouy mar rai hun sen wants to kill Sam Rainsy for the same causes.
To all the elits Khmers chill out and do the rigth thing for khmer people.
When you go to bed with the devils, your became the devils. Sihanouk is the prime example of that.
I totally agree with Phannara. KI sometimes go overboard. Also it's unfair to criticize this new king when he hasn't done anything to anybody. Hating his father is one thing, but to hate this man who may not even share the same interest of his father is very wrong.
He's a dancing king. Yes sir, he always dances to the CPP music. It runs in the family. His father also a CPP dancer too. They are puppet's puppets. They are at the end of yuon food chain. Yuon gives Hun Sen and his CPP orders and this king and his father just sit there and sign off whatever Hun Sen and yuons want to legitimize their wrong doings.
