PHNOM PENH, Cambodia - Police say that six farmers in northwestern Cambodia have been killed by lightning during torrential rains.
Sarun Chanty, the police chief in the northwestern province of Pursat, said the six died in the province on Monday.
Lightning deaths occur every year in Cambodia during the country's rainy season, which begins in late May, but rarely at this time of the year.
