Overseas Cambodians - Birth of the Son Sann's Khmer People's National Liberation Front (KPNLF)

Son Sann in Toulouse (France) on 24 June 1997 at the Cugneaux Pagoda
Sim Var (R) during his visit to Toulouse (France) in 1976

Unofficial translation from Khmer

On 17 April 1975, the Khmer Rouge entered Phnom Penh to lead Cambodia. In 1976, in Paris, France, a number of Khmer VIPs, such as H.E. Son Sann, H.E. Sim Var, and a number of other VIPs whom we apologize for not naming them all here, called on Cambodians from both inside and outside Cambodia to unite in order to liberate our brothers and sisters from the Khmer Rouge tragedy which is taking place in Cambodia.

--------
KI-Media Note: For those who are not familiar with older generation of Cambodian politicians, Mr. Sim Var served in several ministerial posts under both Prince Norodom Sihanouk and General Lon Nol after Cambodia's independence in 1954. In 1957, he led Cambodia's Council of Ministers, but his Government fell the next year over economic issues.

At the time that the Khmer Rouge began their violent four-year rule, Mr. Sim Var was serving as Ambassador to Tokyo. His political fallout with Prince Norodom Sihanouk took place when he joined General Lon Nol's camp in 1970. Mr. Sim Var's death in 1989 did not stop King Norodom Sihanouk's ire against him and the king kept on writing sneering stories about his former minister whom he accused of being a traitor.

The Son Sann's Khmer People's National Liberation Front (KPNLF) is the proxy of idiot king Sihanuck. The leader of paratroop in chamrum Thmey camp. Your soldiers tried to rob my family for gold in chamrum Thmey in 1981.

Poster 7:40AM is an ignorance.
Mr Son Sann was a role model of Khmer Leaders. He has promoted peace and harmony in Cambodia both during Sihanouk and Lon Nol. He has fled Lon Non arrest in 1972 when he declared peace initiative to call off war between Sihanouk and Lon Nol.
We must recognised all his lifetime contribution to Cambodia sovereignity and peace.
Cambodian need to produce a book of Cambodian role model and Cambodian evils so that Cambodian people can recognised who were good and who bad.

The half-blooded Chinese king tried to kill Cambodian good guys from time to time. The King homeland is in Beijing not Phnom Penh. Hope the kind does not mind what we are talking about now, if the king does not want us to talk then king shouldn't do it.

10:41AM.. do you also remember that in the 60's the leading pro-Sihanouk daily "Sochivakthor" used to lampoon Sim Var's Khmer Ekareach" newspaper as "Kassette sloeuk spey". Sim Var shot back and called "Sochivakthor" as "Kassette salycylate".

Have you ever heard a song said "Sihanouk, Son San, and Pol Pot" they all are the same? Soldiers are supposed to serve and protect people but not to rape and to rob someone.
I'm really sad to be a khmer because of the dumb nation I'm from. This's really sad but true.

Nobody will live for ever, olders die and youngers continue, actually Hun Sen and his team, most of them, his ministers, are ex-Khmer republicans, they are neutralizing all of Vietminhs elements, we should laugh ? No ?

Son San was a good Khmer leader but Khmers who would like him were already killed or died already before 1979.
