A group of Thai ultra-nationalists proclaimed that they plan to march to the Khmer-Thai border areas near Ta Moan Toch temple in Oddar Meanchey province on 2-3 May to uproot border posts that have been planted by a joint Khmer-Thai Border Committee, reports Kampuchea Thmey.
On 16th April, the Thai-language Matichon (People's Opinion) newspaper reported Mr. Veera Somkwamkid, leader of the Thai ultra-nationalist group, as saying that he plan to lead his group to Surin province on 1st of May. On 2-3 May, he will lead the group to Ta Moan Toch temple and uprooting the border posts which have planted by the Cambodian government and the Thai government led by Prime Minister Chuan Leekpai from the Democrat Party, presently led by Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva. Matichon quoted Mr. Veera as saying that the border posts were planted illegally by Mr. Chuan Leekpai's government because it did not submit the agreement with Cambodia to parliament for ratification, similar to the action taken by the Samak-Noppadon government in agreeing to inscribe the Preah Vihear temple with Unesco.
Mr. Var Kimhong, chairman of Cambodian Border Commission, warned the Thai ultra-nationalists against uprooting border posts planted by the Cambodian side by saying that the many Cambodian troops guarding the areas will take action against them. He said if they uproot the border posts planted by the Thai side, it is OK with Cambodia because those posts were planted in the wrong place. He said that both Khmer and Thai sides had agreed to plant two posts, one planted by the Thai side and another one planted by the Cambodian side in the area while the Khmer-Thai Border Commssion is trying to locate Border Pillar number 23 planted by the Franco-Siamese Border Commission in 2007. Currently, Border Pillar No. 23 is missing.
Mr. Koy Kuong, spokesman for the Cambodian Foreign Ministry, said those Thai ultra-nationalists had violated international law if they uprooted those border posts because they were planted by both the Khmer and Thai border committees. He said the Thai government must take concrete measures to prevent the uprooting from happening. He added that Cambodian troops stationed in the area will make sure that the group cannot uproot the border posts in the area.

Hey Hun Sen, Shoot the thief to prove that you love Khmer Land. If war escalated into full scale between Thailand, I'll fly over from United States to joint you people fighting against these PADS.
Khmer Poipaet Live in US.
Shoot the hell out of them. These border posts were planted by Cambodian and Thai authority, if these Thai extremists uprooted them, it means they have violated the laws of Cambodia and Thailand, so just shoot the hell out of them!
Where are those mickey-mouse rockets that Hun Sen tested the other day?
This is the time to practice on real targets.
Abisit and Hun Sen is very similar. They are used. Just one is used by his king and another one used by his boss (VN). These people if they were the real politician, they would resign and let their compatriot live in peace. Cambodian and Thai people now are the victim of political challenge. However, Thai show they are more brave and educate than Cambodian. They strive for their rights and political agenda. I wish these people would reach their dream.

The thieft is chosing a vaiety tacticts and colour to provoque Mr. Hun Sen, because Abhishit want war not to stand off. The thieft is waiting to long to buy any Mr. Hun Sen's General who may defected to them could possible leading Siamese troops invating Khmerland just like when it was happening in 1979 Mr.Hun Sen's troop leading Vietnamese to invat and ocupied Kampuchea, that is a moment Thieft AbhiShit is waiting for. Abhishit is shamful to bring troop back homee with bared hands, his life however won't speer either, and his a few Gnerals will executed by his bigger BOSS. In this situation he chose to go for war with Cambodia, bu using provocation tactic to make sure the flare came from Khmer first. We are not afraid welcome Thieft.
Shoot those Thai thieves as soon as they step on Khmer soil.
Hey Hun Xen, use your army to shoot at them thieve, because their army killed many Khmers when they cross the Thai-Khmer border........
i know, cambodia should resort to an arm for an arm, a tooth for a tooth to retaliate against ignorant siem pad thugs and their unruly, illegitimate children!
Fuck the Thai PADS. We should send our armed nationalist Khmers there to prevent this long establised border from being disturbed. We will have to shoot the PADS if needs be.
