I left Kampuchea-Krom when I was very little and grew up in America. I know very little about my people even my parents keep asking to learn about our own identity, Khmer-Krom.
I was convinced by my parents and some of the Khmer-Krom youths to first ever time to join the KKFYC at the United Nations Permanent forum this year in New York City. It was an eye opening for me to see how motivated the Khmer-Krom youths working so hard trying to raise the Khmer-Krom issues to the forum. They had done a wonderful job. I was very happy even I could not contribute much because it was my first time.
One thing that was really bothered me was I saw another Khmer Krom group who called themselves as “Supreme National Council of Kampuchea-Krom” leading by couples Khmer Krom elders that I don’t know, also attended this forum. I asked other youths who they were and why they were there because KKF already represents for Khmer Krom at this forum since 2004. I learned that those Khmer Krom elders are from the Khmer Krom Government in Exile.
The ironic problem about them was that when they attended the United Nations forum, they called themselves as SNC of Kampuchea-Krom instead of KK government. If they called themselves as Khmer Krom Government in Exile, they would never be allowed to join this forum because the UN system will never allow a government in exile like what they called to join the indigenous forum. Sadly they could not give a speech and I really wonder what they would tell the forum. Don’t say that they brave enough to demand for Independence for Kampuchea-Krom in this forum. If they do, I am sure that the forum will kick them out and FBI will knock on their door.
It is sad to see a group of Khmer Krom elders still have this mentality. Only YOUN wants Khmer Krom to demand for Independence so they can ask the US government to arrest us. I think the leaders of SNC know about that, but they have to use this tactic to lie to the Khmer Krom supporters of their group who are hungry power or want to show off and blindly to be called the ministers of the Khmer Krom Government in Exile. The questions to the readers are why the SNC leaders have to do that… What they are trying to achieve ….. Or they work for the hidden face group…….
It is a time for the Khmer Krom elders in SNC to attend the Human Rights training (hopefully they can understand English) like in this flyer, so they know what it is to demand the Human Rights for the Khmer Krom people. Don’t sit at home and read couple paragraphs of International Human Rights and think that you know everything and bravely say that you want to demand “Self-Determination and Independence”. Talk is cheap. Don’t put the Human Rights movements of Khmer-Krom in Jeopardized.
When our youths were in New York, we ate crappy foods and slept in the Hostels. We saw the SNC (KK Government) representatives stayed at a hotel. Wonder where they got the money from…… It is sad to write something like this, but I don’t want to see the SNC or KK government keeps going around lying to our own people and luring them into the YOUN’s trap.

I agree that the SNC (KK Government) has done nothing for Khmer Krom cause since its creation in 2006, except destroying the Khmer Krom unity. What KK government has done so far is to send mixed messages to Khmer Krom and to create confusions among Khmer Krom--turning friends into enemies. The SNC (KK government) is truly serving the Vietcongs' goals, that is to destroy Khmer Krom unity.

This is a joke about the KK government. The whole group of KK government is cheated by one person who is more educated than all the members of KK government.
He knows that it is illegal to form a KK government in exile in America because the American government never allows any group to form a government. This is why we never see they have any website or publicly announce their names of what titles. They just go around and recruit members to divide the KK communities.
When this man lured his supporters to form KK government, he has no official title in KK government because he knows that he could be arrested.
After he saw the failure of KK government because people scare to support. Thus, when he registered to the UN, he said that he doesn't belong to KK government because he is a President of SNC. His supporters didn't know it. But when he talks to his group, he keeps calling his supporters are Ministers so those uneducated men proud with their tittle.
Good luck with those titles. One day, FBI will knock on your door.
Well, if the KK Government Exile formed in USA. Why the USA do not arrest them, why the US still let continuing to do this kind thing?
I heard KK Government Exile and SNC are big organization in the US. The Head Quarter in Philadelphia, PA, USA. Luu Thong is President of Senate and Thach Eng, in New Jersey - Minister, Thach Thuong, Minister and Thach Tan Dara is Chair of SNC. If I don't get wrong. I just heard that last year from my friend. I dont know they formed that big organization in the State.

This KK government in exile(SNC) is an organization of nothing! This group does nothing for Khmer Krom since 2006. They appointed each other to be this minister and that minister like child-play. They sit around and talk, talk, and more talk with zero action. This group sure knows how to hold hands and walk in CIRCLE till death! Such a waste of Khmer resource and support. This group is really out of touch with reality big time!
Something is wrong with those old men. May be before they die, they want to be called Minister (just like Ek Ou Dom OR Ach Ma doum). I heard a funny story about they present the medals to themselves. Hopefully not from this KK government.
I proud to be Khmer Krom, but when I saw those old mental men who are collecting SSI and No Jobs calling themselves as Ministers, just make me feel ashamed.
If you know where they will have a meeting in public, please post it here so I can have a chance to see those old faces and give them some advices to stay home watching TV and let the young generation doing the real work, not Bullshit and not taking advantages on the people who don't know the truth about them.
KK Government is the same as Khmer Mchas Srok. They does nothing. They lies every bodies out side of UN.
Hostels attract mostly college students and young adults.
