Thailand in Temple Dispute with Cambodia

This ancient Hindu Khmer temple sits on a jungle-clad escarpment that forms a natural boundary between Cambodia and Thailand.

But in 1962, the International Court of Justice awarded the temple ruins to Cambodia… a ruling that Thailand does not accept.

The dispute has caused military clashes between the two countries since Thai soldiers came to the site in July 2008.

Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen says bilateral talks are not working, and he is concerned about possible military clashes between the two armies.

On Monday Cambodia's foreign minister met with the ASEAN Secretary General Surin Pitsuwan in Phnom Penh to discuss the issue.

[Hor Namhong, Cambodian Foreign Minister]:
"The royal government lead by Samdech Hun Sen is prepared with everything to solve the problems by peaceful means, we are prepared to resort to international organizations or to the security council of the UN if necessary, to the international court if necessary, to the ASEAN and the military if necessary."

After the meeting, ASEAN Secretary General Pitsuwan says he will have to wait for the ASEAN foreign minister's decision.

With troops and artillery building up on both sides of the border, Cambodia is looking for a resolution.

Ah Khmer government only talks about Thai-Khmer conflict. Where Ah Youn takes most of Khmer land in the East, Ah Sen doesn't say anything.

What is the fuck Ah Sen doing? He serves his master, Youn, rather working for Khmer interest. The same as Ah Sihanouk.

Thai knew that Khmer people are weak and are victims of genocite but still they love to intimidate us, they love to bully us on top of what we already had gone through. This is to show that they have no morality!. They turn love into greed. In the end we belong to the earth and the earth does not belong to us, yet they are sooooo blind. Anyway, this earth is a testing ground for all of us. The rightious will live forever and the wicked will be terminated, simple as that! wisdom

Who was picking Hun Sen to be Khmer Rouge leader, after Pen Savann ? It was Vietnam govt. This Vietnam govt was /is picking the right one.Why ? Because Hun sen was blind one eye.May be, his one ear is deft.Hun sen can see and hear only on Thai-Khmer border, but on Vietnam-Khmer border he can not see and hear it. I am so happy to read the two blogs above my blog. What can all three of us do to help Khmer people inside to wake up ? How about Khmer people oversea can help the inside ones ? I think the Khmer people can them to protest,to communicate each on the internet by supporting,or organizing as groups. The media news are very important to spread the news all over the world. Be brave to do and must sacrifice each life. To get freedom Khmer people must decide to do that.French revolution, the other countries could do,so can Khmer People. I am so proud of two of you, May all gods bless both of you.

8:42 PM,
when a temple is RED, we could call that temple a RED TEMPLE,
when a temple is for boudhism we could call that a BOUDHIST TEMPLE.
Of course, Prea Vihear is a Cambodian temple but it is also a hindouist temple because it was made according to the hindouism.
