According to Nguyen Thanh Long, general director of Saigon Jewelry Co., the biggest gold shop in Vietnam, the company had presented a plan to the Government, seeking permission to open a factory in Laos.
If the company receives approval from both Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and Laos’s government, it will start producing SJC-brand gold bars in Laos later this year, he said, adding that it will promote manufacturing and selling of jewelries in Laos next year before expanding business to Cambodia.
Earlier, Sacombank Jewelry Co. debuted its SBJ-brand gold bars and opened a subsidiary in Cambodia.

i think it is the stupidity of lao and cambodia to allow the vietcong to do business in the country. remember chey chetta, the stupid king of cambodia who cared nothing about the country but only the vietcong's wife. he allow the vietcong to invade little by little until the whole kampuchea krom dispear. now the new generation is repeating the past. remember the vietcong homeland is in the red river and it swallowed champa, kampuchea krom and now cambodia and lao. it is your responsibility not to let your country repeat the past experience.
Vietnam is greedy.She wanted/is wanting Champa,Khmer Krom,Khmer Kandal, Lao,Thai,Burma,and so on...This is Vietnam ambition. Blem the Government of Laos and Khmer. They dont want to do shit for the country. Sitting theirs ass there doing nothing. That why u see all this foreigner company are coming in and take gold, gas, oil and other mineral to sale to theirs country and ours.
