By Khmer Democrat, Phnom Penh
Freedom of expression is a pillar of democracy, the axioms "agree to disagree" and "constructive criticism" its foundation. It connotes responsibility and civility. Civility means politeness, yes, but includes humor, satire to get its message across. What runs counter to civility is vulgar language and lies.
For the supporters of Cambodian democracy and territorial integrity, law and morality are on our side. We do not need to resort to vulgarity, which only obscures the larger substantive message of what we want to say.
However, I have the suspicion that many times these vulgar postings are the work of anti-democrats and professional watchers of KI Media to discredit it and stem its power and rapidly growing influence.
Let's learn to argue with ideas and stick to the issue: the issue is INJUSTICE, that of rampant violations of human rights, of breaching international legal principles of territorial sovereignty.
For you who are planted to be vulgar, I believe in the transformation of people, so there's still hope for you.

Thank you, Khmer Democrat, for this! Well said!
Let me use my freedom of speech to show my disagreement with your comment.
What the fuck are you talking about and who the fuck are you talking to Kmher Democrat ? If you talk about vulgar language , tell Hun Sen how to talk in public , don't tell use here how to talk .
Hey 3:42 PM, how much do they pay you for this work?
Tith Sothea--- the mouthpiece of the Press and Quick Reaction Unit (PQRU) of the Council of Ministers working for CPP---ASSUMING….they also has a “QUICK REACTION UNIT” crew for online. DOES THE CPP also have a “FACE TO FACE - QUICK REACTION UNIT” OVERSEA?
BARKING FROM CAMBODIA? BARKING ONLINE? HOW MUCH THEY PAID YOU PEOPLE?
LOL
Wow! If you are Viet-Kong baby in Ho chi minh's stomach STOP open your mouth you might get choke by your father water in the there kid.
Love Khmer People so much that I want to run the Prime Minister myself!
I agree with 3:42PM,
Hun Xen is a role model; he must bahve and talk respectably in public. In contrast, this vulgar, cocky, lowlife rustic shows no moral value to be a leader of Khmer people. He's more a dictator than a leader.
correction: behave
agreed totally with the article above! keep it civilized and not personalized! they say think objectively(idea, goal), not subjectively(human character)!
Be civil, like our prime mister, Hun Sen.
LOL @ 12:05 AM !!
