Cambodia began Thursday a military exercise in northwestern parts of the country, a senior military official said.
Chhum Socheat, spokesman of Ministry of National Defense, said the military exercise began Thursday morning at Phnom Veng, about 350 kilometers northwest of the capital Phnom Penh.
Deputy prime minister and minister of national defense Tea Banh is presiding over the drill.
It is the second military exercise in three months in Cambodia.
In July, Cambodia conducted a two-week multi-national military exercise with code name "Angkor Sentinel 2010" and involving about 1,000 forces from 26 countries and two international organizations.

Any moment the only any moment at this circumstance, if Khme without Mr.Hun Sen will be desaster Back to square oneagain. Why ? look at Greedy Siamese, they are waiting for opportunity to occupy more Khmer land, not only to secure the Darng-wrek range Mountain but far beyond where the border line is. Khmer situation will have stability only when Mr.Hun Sen loosing power accordingly to a political weell, otherwise Siamese and Yuon will have Champagne infront of CHack-Tocmuck river.
I wanted Mr.Hun Sen Out of politic as same as you do but together dear Khmer must work harder, please do not seating down then blame one another,you're Kone Khmer have choices to help Khmer nation, first look at what is Khmer people need,nerver mind the politiciens, let says the people, let provide them the supportthey need to maximise their capacities knowledge through educational,mentally, morally any thing about Khmer interest these people will do the jobs for the Khmer nation into the future. There is no other nation help you when you don't. Stop complain let get action that what Khmer need!!

what the fuck is wrong with these Cambodian military generals who can't even wear matching uniforms? you see them wearing uniforms from Thai military, Chinese military, and US military. What a bunch of dumb fucks. I bet you if war ever breaks out, these generals would be the first to hop into their SUVs with suitcases full of US dollars and head towards Vietnam.
Ah yuon doggy hun xen demanded the silly soldiers to exercise on shelling while he was away with his yuon lady. I fsomething happens at the border between siam and Khmer, he will not take any responsibilty. That yuon slave doggy will be safe at the States and continue to return to yuon country.
