Golnik beat out Sam M. Meas of Haverhill; Robert L. Shapiro of Andover; and Thomas J.M. Weaver of Westford in the primaryA feisty U.S. Rep. Niki Tsongas (D-Lowell), who vowed yesterday she won’t fall to the kind of GOP political tsunami that swept U.S. Sen. Scott Brown into office, prepared last night for a race against primary victor Jon A. Golnik.
“Voters will have a clear choice between my record of results and stale Republican ideas like privatizing Social Security, and tax breaks for the wealthiest 2 percent of Americans,” Tsongas said.
Golnik - who beat out three other candidates in a tight race - said he’s ready to take on Tsongas.
“As an incumbent, she has to run against her own record, and she can’t defend the fact that 90 percent of the time, she voted with (House Speaker Nancy) Pelosi,” said Golnik, a Carlisle resident.
National Republicans have been licking their chops over the fifth congressional district since Brown, a Wrentham Republican, was elected in January. The 29-town district features a strong conservative base that GOP officials hope to capitalize on.

Good to hear that he lost the primary. This guy is a not a nationalist. He is a selfish individual. NEVER think that he will help khmer and Cambodia if he will be elected. He is a power hungry only. He tried one time to get in to the CPP inner circle to get the power, but he lost.

If Sam Meas run as a Democrat he would have won. American and Asian are loosing faith with republican. People thought they're using him to gain the Republican Popularity again. Bright Idea in a wrong track.
Now he joined "Khmer stop Poor" party. I saw him last night at the Party house's leader near by in Lowell at the river.
This Sam Meas guy is a fake khmer. His brain is Hun Sen's brain. I was funding by the CPP to do the campaign.
He has nothing upstair, excpet his is a power hungry and womenized guy. He loves to fuck young girls.
