“Today I want to make clear to all of you that the main mission of either the embassy or the consulates is to serve all people regardless of their political tendencies and beliefs. We will serve you unconditionally (sic!).”
Cambodia opened a consulate office in Philadelphia, Penn., on Saturday, the third of its kind, aimed at serving Cambodian nationals and attracting tourism and investment.

Located on the ground floor of a building in the north of the city, the five-by-fifteen-meter office will certify documents and work with Cambodians facing issues like deportation, officials said.

“The opening of the general consulate is to help functions for our people who live in the US, to use it as a bridge for people in Philadelphia to our motherland,” Ouch Borith, secretary of state for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told a crowd of about 100 Saturday.

Cambodia already has consulates in Seattle, Wash., and Lowell, Mass., in addition to its embassy in Washington.

Officials also moved to put aside concerns that these offices were extensions of the ruling Cambodian People's Party.

“Today I want to make clear to all of you that the main mission of either the embassy or the consulates is to serve all people regardless of their political tendencies and beliefs,” he said. “We will serve you unconditionally.”

“I am committed to serve the interests of the Cambodian people,” said Sok Savoeun, the newly appointed consular. “I will try my best to help as much as I can, regardless of your political parties. So long as you are Cambodians, I will do my best to serve you.”

By the way, isn't the Long Beach clants suppose to have one council as well? Or the price that have to pay to the Embassader is not right yet? Mr. Voeun - would you enlight the long beach people, especially to those business council in Long Beach and the sister city clants - of to how you have to pay to get the position? Long Beach people just don't know how to agreed how much they have to pay for the position...by the way Hun Sen connection is getting more expensive as the day go by. Just think of it like an investment ...catch it the rights time...as long as you are able to corrupt enough before Hun Sen govt. valuse get busted... That is my two cents advice to all of you that want to hold power from CPP..

It is another lie of the CPP dominated embassy again. This guy looks like a rapist lusting for extremely young girls for sure. Look at his bald spot carefully. It is typical bald spot of a man who constantly thinking of sex with underaged children. Watch out for this man. I bet his wife is at least 30 years younger than him for sure. It is the CPP culture to discriminate against the Cambodians who love the nation and belonging to the Sam Rainsy Party. This much I know as proven by the ongoing evidence in Cambodia. Even ah Soy Sopheap the idiot continue to praise ah CPP and sucking on ah YUON dicks daily.

The consular (Huot Daravuth?) in Seattle is a rogue. Many Khmer people in Seattle don't like him. His name is a Khmer name, but his character is not. I feel sad to have a person like this guy to be Cambodia's representative.
