It's been a busy year for this mother of six (the eldest being Cambodia's very own Maddox) who commands $20 million upfront per movie. Action movie Salt brought in $36.5 million during its July opening weekend, grossing $270 million worldwide as of Sept. 15. She lent her voice to the sequel of animated Kung Fu Panda (the original was her highest grossing movie at $632 million) and confirmed she'd be starring as Cleopatra for 2013 release. A U.N. Goodwill Ambassador and two-time Davos speaker, she's also opened her wallet. Jolie's all-girls school in Afghanistan opened its doors to 800 students this year, and she donated $1 million to help Haiti rebuild and another $100,000 for the flood relief efforts in Pakistan. (And the millions toward preservation of Samlaut, Cambodia.)

I appreciate the works of Jolie. She is a good and generous woman that most celebrities don’t. She never thinks of her personal interest while engaged in charitable work.
