The Cambodian government decided to issue an announcement for a name change for the three Kanthor communes in Kampong Trach district, Kampot province. The name change was requested by the local villagers and the commune councilors in order to attract local development funds. From now on, the authority and the villagers are starting to get used to calling their new commune name, as well as changing the official letterheads, and forgetting the commune old name of “Kanthor”.

In the province of Kampong Chhnang,
a village named KRAIN-LIAV.
Villagers killed a French and it beame TERE-CHHANN village.
As Hun Sen names all of the schools in Cambodia by Hun Sen or Bun Rany Hun Sen school..
TERE-CHHANN school becomes
"TERE-CHHANN Hun Sen school".
It's real fact but it may be already changed !
