What do you think about Cambodia's future?

Three pages. Click on text to read the article.

Good morning
Unfortunately I don't know any Khmer newspaper in English. So, that's why I would like Khmerization and KI-Media to publish the attached column.
You will notice that my first language is not English but I really like to know about the people's opinion and reaction. BTW thank you for the daily news. You are doing a great job.
Thank you for your consideration.

I can only agree to 50% of what you say.

Your text seems to be a bit aggressive. To restart from the blank slate is a very dangerous policy (i.e. the KR). I agree that the CPP and Hun Sen's cronies monopolise the central power. "But to get rid fo them all and restart a new page with the sacrifices of our Khmer compatriot blood" sounds really fanatic and dreamy motto out of the reality. How can this happen? Me too, I say other great things about the sacrifice, about the potentiality, bla bla... But if you go and talk to even the think tank at the white house. They would suggest you to re study your concept again.

I am against the CPP too. But your writing is more or less fanatic like the communist KR before they came to power. " brother and sister let's fight against the US (Viet) empiralist and we will create a new utopian country that never exists before. Great leap forwards. There is no rich, no poor, full and absolute independent and absolute freedom on our own." And who is going to be the leader? That leader will sacrifice their power for the sake of the country? that is the final question.

If ever Cambodia seeks for help from God and trust in Him and walk in his way and wisdom, his strength will overpower all other wicked and enslaving nations, near or far.
Cambodia was and is a filthy nation God wrath is upon it. But God will see and hear your cry if Cambodia repents and turns to God for salvation. It should start with its leaders whether political or spiritual.
Wake up Cambodia! and Hear God's calling, Repent and turn to Him.

here's my thought on this personal's fanatic or wishful thinking. your idea only work if you have overwhelming supports and cambodia is the only country or only race in the world. don't forget the world is big out there. that's what happened to stupid KR, they all think like a frog in the well mentality and failed to realize the bigger world out there. in order for that to happen, the entire world have to first go back to being stone age; otherwise, give up their what psychiatrist termed crazy thinking in your head! you are very lonely out there with your extreme idea!

In the future is ah CPP still hold on power. We gonna be like Kampuchea Krom pretty soon. We needs to set up a system like the U.S., Australia and European country. I've seen ah Kwack lead the Country since I was born don't Khmer have any people to replace him or what? I'm fucking sicking tired of to see the same old dog again and again let make the term limited for the President.

The UNTAC tried inserting the term limit into the constitution. But Sihanouk compared the constitution to the SAMLOR KHMER. He said that only Khmer know how to cook SAMLOR KHMER better than any foreigner, because he knew well ahead that his son would win the election and stayed elected for life. We Khmer missed a big fair chance because of whom?

Thank you for comparing democratically thinking with communist madness. However, in my column I deliver an opinion, not a concept, which actually exists already and is called Revolution. As you know Revolution and violence walk hand in hand. Sacrifice in this context means people who fight for universal rights and nation. I agree state system can certainly not been changed overnight. Even ruling by a good and strong government with international support and many volunteers change takes decades. At least the government would respect law, provide security, carry out free election and care about people in many ways what has a real future.

Cambodia has to show the world that it does not always expect help first. Let the world know you are willing to do something against the suppression with peaceful, legal, clever and organised method (e.g. publishing dramaturgy / actual truth or make demonstrations at the same time in all over the world etc.)
Furthermore United Nation’s support is limited and Cambodia’s “little” problem is just one of many. Start a movement and involve the world public because many people don’t know anything about Cambodia. In conclusion all big things start out small.

the correct word is "democratic thinking" instead of "democratically thinking"
