CAMBODIA’S business friendliness has declined in world rankings despite gains for exporters and entrepreneurs, according to a World Bank report.
The Making a Difference for Entrepreneurs report, which compared business regulations across 183 economies, ranked Cambodia 147th place for the ease of doing business, down from 145th place last year.
The drop came despite improved rankings in the ease of foreign trade and starting new companies.
Cambodia was the seventh most improved economy for trading across borders, climbing nine places to 118th. That was due to a reduction in the amount of paperwork for importing and exporting goods.
“Cambodia eliminated pre-shipment inspections, reducing the time and number of documents required for importing and exporting,” the report said.
Despite the change, the amount of paperwork needed to export goods remained the eighth highest in the world.
The ease of starting a business in Cambodia climbed three places over last year’s low base, to 170th.
However, the time needed to start a business still ranked poorly, at an average of 85 days – measured as the third longest in the East Asia-Pacific region.
Cambodia was also the third slowest country to issue construction permits, with an average wait of 709 days.

We clearly see Sam rainsy, he is not well communicator, and he has no self discipline, and he is disrespect, and he is a not truth-worthy man, he have no co operate, he lack leadership skill, he is lazy and don't have clear vision for us. all these character will never gain any support from voter.
We can clearly see his provocative will lead to more violent and division Khmer society, please stop him and break him from the bottom heart then rebuild him. I agreed people power but should be happen in Kampuchea krom or in Sorin, let Cambodia strong first otherwise it very dangerous for all of us.
I promise if he keep doing it he will bring Khmer down to war it take 15 years to rebuild, and SRP will never progress.

To those who truly believe SR is too "leftist" ... you have the option to write him to his headquarter in PP by your opinions and hope he sees your vision.
To be him: you have to be a visionary and some leadership skills in order to exist to this day. You have to understand Khmer attitude to combat such problem with HS. HS without Hanoi is very easy.... but HS has a tail on his own, someone has to have what it takes to fight this battle to save our land.
Can you please, I urge you, I am not belong to any party but I work in the interest of Khmer people, you may write your suggestions, ideas, what is your strategy and what is your motivation toward why you think SR is so NEGATIVE.
In Addition: You need to look at FUNCINPEC = they allowed HS to break them into small pieces. You need to learn about other party first before you into believing SR is too "leftist".... HS had planned to "destroy" SRP for many many years...its party still standing what is that tell you...

With the current power structure, the only people who can possibly bring about any of that two is Mr. Hun Sen.
No one else has the power, or political control of the military, police, and national guards in Cambodia except the ruling party.
What you meant to say then is, Hun Sen, an egoist, a self-proclaimed hero of the Khmer people, a dictator who wields absolute power, will do anything and kill any Khmer citizens who will challenge his power.
The problem isn't Sam Rainsy then, your violent actor is Hun Sen. Please advise him to like a mature, responsible grown up and represent Khmer in positive way to the world.

Why Cambodian get bad rate right now!...Well, most of his official moving up-ward in their rang (example from 4 stars general to 5,6,7, etc generals), thus they need to increase their corruption. They have ego inflation...they persiver them self to be most powerful...thus, they start demand one.
