What went wrong? It was not supposed this way. May you rest in peace.
Why this happen to my people, my pray and condolences to all the vitim families may your soul rest in peaces.
Crying to see all these pictures of my brother & sisters.
Pay my beep respect to all the victims and the people, who suffered from this tragedy.
I live in Phnom Penh. From what I heard from friends and co-workers was that some youngsters or they call them "A-steal" started a fight. And then people panicked and they ran. Others yelled that the bridge will colapse since there were too many people on the bridge. Everyone started to push and shove each other causing this.
Just like if someone were to scream "fire" in a movie theatre, the same wld happen. These kinds of things can happen anywhere in the world, not just in Cambodia.
One of my friend's sister jumped off the bride and survives this. She's so lucky.
My buddha, these innocent people died in Peace. There was no war, no shelting, no bomb, no fire, but they passed away at the bridge of diamond island. Is it the good bridge and good island......

What we need is prevention method, not to let this type of accident happen again in future.
It also make me very worry to see so much alcohol allowed to enter or produced in our beloved Kingdom of Cambodia? What about “ YA BA “ from Thailand? Can Samdech Ta and Samdech Hun Sen stop all sort of drugs coming to Cambodia? The accident may not related to drugs and alcohol but just some thing that I could not sleep peacefully from now to the future in the name sake of Khmer citizen.
May almighty God Jesus Christ accept all the victim souls into heaven too.

why the cops sprinkling water onto the stampede which is the eklectricity wire can easily kill people. Are the cops received any instruction of killing people and is a plan of someone to do so?????
Innocent people especially the youth wanted to join happily during the national festival, but the plan to kill them arose from someone who has ready organised for the illiterated and silly cops to conduct. This is the illiterated government.

Would you mind post all photos of dead at koh Pech? Many people, especially those live at the remote area find it very difficult to look around the hospital as they need to spend a lot for traveling.
