CITA Meeting in Battambang on 19 Dec 2010


In the morning of 19 Dec 2010, the Cambodia Independent Teachers’ Association (CITA) held a meeting on “Teachers’ rights and obligations” which was attended by 35 teachers from Chheu Teal commune, Banan district, Battambang province. The meeting was led by Mr. Rong Chhun, CITA National President, and Mr. Men Sothey, President of CITA branch in Battambang province. The meeting was also attended by two honored guests: Kampot SRP MP MU Sochua and CCHR President Ou Virak.

Hun Sen is killing education system in Cambodia,
less than $100 per month per teacher,
who could live with that salary ?
If he uses the money that he pays his bodyguards to pay teachers salary, Cambodians would be better educated..
