The Coming to Cambodia of an American Iraq war veteran

Hello, this is Tim Durrin I am the student coming to Cambodia to ride my bike, I saw you posted my article (American war vet to cycle for six months in Cambodia for humanitarian cause) in your blog.

I am wondering if you have any organizations or causes I can help with during my travels?

Look forward to hearing from you

Tim, where do you want to start? Every facet needs help. If you want to help the children, look for the orphanage but go through the embassy or NGO that you trust. Watch out for the crazy traffic, Tim. There are a lot of con artists, robbers around...be careful.

have fun in cambodia while doing something you love there! thank you for wanting to make a difference for people in cambodia. if you talk with people there who are knowledgeable about cambodia and who are unbiased toward cambodia, you will find something worthwhile doing something there. also, the internet is a good tool to find something you're interested in doing there as well. there are so many ways to do this. god bless all.

he'll do fine in cambodia. use the survival skill he learned in the military, ok, because you can get hurt anywhere in the world, not just in cambodia, you know! and yes, do avoid people who are biased toward cambodia. that's a smart way as well. enjoy my country cambodia! and welcome!
