Dream for Wedding Ends in Stampede Tragedy

Soura Saly had hoped to return to Cambodia from where he worked in Malaysia to marry the girl of his dreams. Instead, he was summoned to attend her funeral. His 23-year-old fiancé, Res Marina, was one of more than 350 people killed in last month's Water Festival bridge tragedy. Broken-hearted, he said he sleeps with her dresses. VOA Khmer's Pich Samnang reports from the family home of Res Marina, on the outskirts of northern Phnom Penh.

May her soul rest in peace. For those of you having such insensitive comments above, thing would have been different if it happened to you.

Some people are just not at all sensible to others' feeling. They only think of themselves and become so self-centered and selfish ...... until terrible and nasty things happen to them, then start to feel sorry for themselves.

When this happens I would like to say to them "Go to hell! Stop crying and being miserable, you deserve it! What could make you think, you are any different from others (whom you made fun of before)????

Nothing is worst than losing your best friend. Let alone someone you really love. Nothing. Wishing you will recover soon and meet someone new that you also really really love. Love can be more than one. Please don't lose hope.

We need in the future a lot of reeducation centers, because some of our people have to retrain, learn to respect other as civilized Khmer.
