After the offering ceremony to the spirits (Krong Pealy) was completed, Pich Bridge was reopened for traffic on 08 December. However, the number of visitors to Koh Pich Island dropped by about half in comparison to before 22 November 2010 when the tragic accident took place. On Sunday 13 December, the number of visitors to Koh Pich was quite large compared to the day after the bridge was immediately reopened, but when compared to Sundays prior to the accident, the number has dropped significantly. The majority of visitors to the island are those who attend wedding ceremonies. As for visitors to come in for entertainment or for shopping, their number is very small, and the crossing of Pich Bridge is something they cannot avoid since Hang Bridge is reserved for entrance to the island and Pich Bridge is the only exit out of the island.

it is the pich kheat bridge. we don't condemn pich bridge, but the owner. and the owner is Hun Sen share with pong Kheavesé. We condemn them.

No way on this earth that many people were stamped and lost too many life in the history. The Crown will not cause death unless people were electrocuted; whoever behind these mass murders will be faced consequence. You can lie to human eyes but you cannot hide from the sky. God eyes. I am so ashamed to see our people have to live with this. All the nonsense Death is in result of a poor leadership style. We are Khmers are now living in technology age; we must keep up with the rest of the world. Not to compare what were in the past. People should be treated as a Human not animal. We must have a leader who has ethical moral and well educated to keep up with the world. When you have smart parent, the children will get the benefit from it. I am so sicken tried to see the same leader for 30 and don’t do much for the people. There no civilize country that has the same leaders for 30 years. The only dictatorship country that can stay this long; We Khmer must think and careful chosen a leader. When decision is already made, it could resolve of losing many more life in the future. Perhaps it would be more than a life but a country itself. You all are smart young Khmer generation; each of you here will be a leader. The future Khmer. Think about it

common people, don't be afraid of this bridge. this bridge doesn't kill people, it was overcrowding and that led to stampede that killed, not the bridge. please know the difference, ok! plus, they planned to build more and better bridges in the area, so it is good for phnom penh and people to have more reliable bridges to cross the many water ways in cambodia, you know! be smart and wake up. there are more to cambodia than this, you know!

The stupid bridges to koh Moronak serve no people of Cambodia! they just to encourage land grabing business! And people are cursing the evils! DONT DO business with them and you may doom too!
The killed cause by lack of vision and knowlege of the stupid government and crooked business! They still controle the island and no punishment for ther reclessness!
Don't go their to the island something else may just way to cause disasters!!!!!!! Stat away from play build by crook and stupid tugs!!!!
