Phnom Penh – In the morning of Friday 31 December 2010, 3 SRP MPs – Ho Vann, Yim Sovann and Kong Bora – visited Prey Sar jail with the intention of seeing a WFP employee jailed there, however, the man refused to meet the SRP MPs.
Following their exit from the prison, SRP MP Ho Van told reporters that the SRP MPs received the authorization to visit Prey Sar jail, in the Phnom Penh suburb, this morning. However, he does not know why the WFP employee refused to meet him.
Seng Kunakar, the WFP employee, was arrested by the police on 18 December 2010 because he printed an article from KI-Media criticizing the government leaders in the border problem. On Sunday 20 December 2010, the Phnom Penh municipal court held a hearing to sentence Seng Kunakar to 6 months of jail time and fined him 1 million riels ($250) per the stipulation of Article 495 of the new penal code.
During the hearing, Seng Kunakar indicated that he is not involved in any political group, and he only printed that KI-Media article for reading as information only.

1:22 PM, I agreed with your view here. Kunnakar refused to see the SRP MPs because he didn't want the authority to think that he is an SRP supporter which would complicate his case further. SRP want to help raise his predicament and his case publicly, but Seng Kunnaka is concerned that he might get into more troubles with the authority. I don't blame him and I think he made the right choice for himself.
I don't think, this gentleman is Khmer Heroes.
I thinks that dude is coward don't call him Khmer heroes.

If I were Seng Kunakar, I would do the same thing. The gov’t sent its spies to intimidate him in the prison. They threaten him, if he, Seng Kunakar, is seen by the the SRP MPs, he and his family members will be hurt. It is easy to understand how does Hun Sen’s brain work.
This is what they call killing 2 birds with 1 stone; it makes SRP looks bad and also it makes Seng Kunakar looking like a coward instead of hero.
Actually Hun Sen is not that smart, but he takes orders from Hanoi.

as long as you are not with opposition, you can't be name as hero in KI-Media. one day when any of you who support KI-Media is found out that you are not with them, they will curse you and your family.
Seng Kunakar's decision was right.
He chose to print an article from KI to get himself in the prison.
The he refused to see SRP MPs.
He wants to be alone. So his picture need to be removed from the HEROE side.
I past by KI new year wishing, all Sam rainsy people are too love too hate and too smarte, too idiot If bunch of people like you in power Khmer will go to hell again, all those comments are so dump.
reflect back Rainsy collected all stupidity, how he live with that. thank to all who sounds fair and civilizing. KI sould never, never and ever let this kind of Hatred culture vine with you or SRP.
Kunekar is still a heroe, he printed and read documents that the hated CPP love to opressed and fabricate like Mr. 2:26.
Whether he is opposition in name or not, he is in his consciousness, opposition to corruption and selling of Cambodian land.
He did the right thing to not associate himself with politicians, and maintain his stance that he is an independent citizen who was just victim of the oppressive government.
I admire this man, he is still and even more so a hero- now he stands in the court alone, who in the Khmer history dares such a move? Not even Sam Rainsy himself have enough courage to do that!
