Six individuals have been arrested on suspicion of distributing anti-government leaflets in Takeo and Phnom Penh provinces.
The suspects allegedly dropped about 80 leaflets early on Friday morning in Chamkarmon and Prampi Makara district in Phnom Penh. The men were arrested in separate instances on Friday and Saturday.
National police spokesman Kirt Chantharith said that police arrested three people in Takeo, Kandal and Kratie provinces, and three in Phnom Penh in connection with leafletting, but did not elaborate on how they identified the suspects.
“The six confessed that they delivered the leaflets,” said Kirt Chantharitha, adding that four were sent to the Takeo provincial court and two were detained in Phnom Penh.
“The leaflets allegedly cursed and accused the government of allowing Vietnamese to kill Khmers and selling land to Vietnam,” he said.
Tep Sophorn, deputy governor of Prampi Makara district, said 33 anti-government leaflets were collected from two communes in his district on Friday morning.
“I don’t remember it all, but it is a one-page leaflet that curses ... Hun Sen,” he said.

There is doubt that those leaflets which is insulting to Cambodian leaders was created by SRP. Cambodian Police should not only arrested those 5 suspects, but must search SRP headquarter in Phnom Penh and in the provinces. The master mind of those leaflets is the senior SRP leaders, but they are really coward, not dared to distribute by themselves and using some students and other SRP activities to do a dirty trick for them.

In the past Pharmacist are great career but today Pharmacist profession is the same as Accountant Graduate. They are facing unemploy and the wage is keep going down hill at Australia as well as United State. Most Pharmacist are part time empoly only, No sick leave, no holiday pay, work as casual who say Pharmacists are rich is very wrong. Actually register nurse is even better than Pharmacist profession in term of wage and working condition. Please don't tell your kid to become pharmacist that is very bad idea.
Pharmacist in real working world is like a sell men or sell women. The boss push the pharmacist to increase sell or the Pharmacist has to terminate by the boss. Customers don't respect pharmacist at all, Pharmacist do everything in the small shop including cleaning, put stock away, invoicing, marketing for front shop, kiss ass customers everyday so hope they would come back.
Pharmacist hardly advice customer to use the medication properly because time is money.
Most pharmacist depend on MIMS software to check interaction. Pharmacist read the MIMS from the computer before they advice customer. If the customers ask hard question Pharmacist refer to Doctor.
Please don't push your children to be Pharmacist. It is not that great profession because everyday Pharmacist meet sick,rude and crazy customers and the wage is going down hill nowaday.
By the way, the one that have access to internet are mostly CPP children and their family!
Not the poor Khmers come to study in Phnom Penh living in temple! Thus, event the one that access to information -- are mostly the elitist students that their parents benefit from the Sen's regime!.
