BANGKOK, Monday 10 January 2011 (Bernama) -- A legal team met seven Thai detainees in Phnom Penh Monday morning to find out more information -- as part of Thailand's attempts to seek for their freedom, Thai News Agency (TNA) reported.
The Thai legal team, who arrived in the Cambodian capital on Sunday, earlier met Cambodian defence lawyers and the Thai ambassador in Phnom Penh for the same purpose.
A Cambodian court spent almost 12 hours last Thursday to question each of the seven Thai detainees, including a Bangkok MP of the ruling Democrat Party, Panich Vikitsreth, and a leading activist aligned with the yellow-shirt People's Alliance for Democracy or PAD, Veera Somkwamkid, who were arrested by Cambodian soldiers in a border area on December 29 and have been all detained since then on charges of illegally entering into the Cambodian territory.
The Phnom Penh court has not yet set the date for its next hearing on the case and Thailand's attempts to seek for the release on bail of the seven Thai nationals have not yet been fulfilled.

Cambodian government -jurdge, please do not release seven Thai, lock them in a separate room. They are illigally entered Cambodia. Now Thai starts to kill, short Cambodian people on board Khmer-Thai.

Thai soldiers just shot and killed Cambodians a few days ago (again and again). What is Hun Sen going to do?

I am not take side but may be I am like you are. when I read some comments in KI I found some extremist people who want to kill khmer in cpp, or leader, we lived in peace now and as you said historicaly we never have peace, it is hards very hards to make peace that why I felt up set myself when some Khmer extremist kept and tried to divide our Khmer.Please help each other, educate each other, and spreading love to each other, and chaleng positivly way to help our leader to the right deriction. we all must reunited, Sam rainsy he was too selfish, in 2003 hun sen invited hime to jiont gov't, Rainsy he denied and kept dividing Khmer from family to family, brother and sister, from vilages to vilages..... that very negative for you and me to kept sillent. Now we all absolutely understand Sam Rainsy is trying to stop dirty trick of ah Xhmer from growing evil.
