Thai nationalist protesters will rally “indefinitely” starting tomorrow to pressure the government into taking stronger action in a border dispute with Cambodia, leader Chamlong Srimuang said.

The People’s Alliance for Democracy wants Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to drop out of the United Nations’ World Heritage Committee, cancel a 2000 memorandum of understanding with Cambodia concerning border negotiations and urge Cambodians to withdraw from disputed border areas, Chamlong said.

We will gather indefinitely if Abhisit doesn’t come out to protect the country,” he told reporters in Bangkok.

In 2008, the group stayed on Bangkok’s streets for more than six months in a bid to force ex-leader Thaksin Shinawatra’s allies from power, culminating in an eight-day seizure of Bangkok’s airports. The protest ended after a court disbanded the ruling party, and Abhisit took power two weeks later in a parliamentary vote.

The protest will begin at 2 p.m. on a bridge less than a kilometer from the prime minister’s office, known as Government House, which the group occupied for three months in 2008.

“We won’t get into Government House tomorrow or the next day, but I don’t know yet about the following days,” Chamlong said.

Thailand’s SET Index fell 3 percent as of 12:30 p.m. local time, poised for its biggest drop since May 25.

Relations between Thailand and Cambodia soured in 2008 when a Thai court ordered a Thaksin-linked government to withdraw support for Cambodia’s bid to list the disputed Preah Vihear temple as a World Heritage site. Gun battles in the area since 2008 have killed at least six soldiers.

Attention to all PAD chauvinists: I want you all to listen to my Cambodian proverb carefully---If the dogs like you bark would not bite, and if the Thais like you preach has meaningless and insensible. First, the PAD Thais have disguised themselves to be "SECT" and claimed that they were a large group of nonmainstream religion. Second, they insisted the gov't to drop out of UN World Heritage Committee, MoU 2000,and expel Cambodian citizens from their land. Now, I am curious about the mentality of a group. Is PAD thais or SECT diagnosed with "Bipolar Disorder" that they hardly sleep due to a haunt of Preah Vihear's Ta Dy spirit? If so, I recommend all PAD activists as well as SECT to take "Antidepressants" like SYMBYAX,XEPREXA,XANNAX,PRAZOIN and WELLBATRI.Somehow, if these medications would not work out, try another technique: jump off from the Preah Vihear's cliff to commit suicide. This method is very effective and could be resilient from trauma. Please try, don't be hesitated. If you have question, call me @ xxx-911.com: ANICCA-impermanent, DHUKA-melancholia, and ANATTA-without self. May Thailand and its people face all the above three hindrances.

The government of Thailand should donate Srimuang a young wife, a plot of land and a pair of buffalo so to give him something to do than to incite trouble.
