Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son, Head of Vietnam’s National Border Committee and Var Kim Hong, Head of Cambodia’s Border Committee and a representative from Blom Info AS of Denmark on January 13 signed a contract to produce a new set of maps of the national border between Vietnam and Cambodia.
Previously, from Jan.10-13, negotiations on the production contract of the set of maps were held in Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh.
The contract manifests close cooperation and the determination of Vietnam and Cambodia to complete the set of maps of their national border and all border demarcation-related work by the end of 2012, aiming to build a border of peace, friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
An international press briefing took place after the signing ceremony.

The Blom Info AS is a private company that Cambodia and Vietnam hire to draw new map according to the border treaties between the two countries as sovereign states and there is nothing to do with Denmark.

BLOM HAS BEEN AWARDED CONTRACT TO DRAW CAMBODIA- VIETNAM BORDER MAP
Blom has been awarded a contract to draw the border map between Cambodia and Vietnam by the Cambodian-Vietnam Joint Commission on Demarcation and Abornment for Land Boundary.
Project execution will include delivery of ground control points, digital aerial photography, vector maps, orthophoto maps and plotting of border pillars, covering a 10 km-wide corridor along the entire border between the two countries.
Project is expected to last for 1.5 years, with start-up early 2011.

For two years ago DENMARK has looked down the Muslims by caricature, still this image is still in burnt.
